World Call - Can someone tell them what customer service is ?

The experiences at World Call, the famous Broadband Internet Service Provider in Pakistan, have always been educating and to be honest lesson learning (never go back to them).
I recently had this (yet another experience) experience with the World Call guys. It so happened that I had to get my internet connection at home temporarily blocked (they call it voluntary blocking). The reason that I had to have it blocked is that a friend had a speedy connection at his place and was shifting to some place else, where World Call doesn't offer its services. Now this friend of mine had double speed and had also made a payment of 6 months in advance. Now World Call was not ready to re-imburse the rest of the payment and instead offered to get it shifted some place else and I ended up getting it as my connection was on a slower speed and I had paid only for a month, which I was using.
Anyhow, I wasted my own money spent at World Call for almost 15 days and before the end of month, when I called them up to get my current connection temporarily blocked, the guy at the help line told me that I would have to personally visit the office to get the line temorarily blocked, which was a complete surprise to me. The explanation he gave me was that I would have to clear any pending dues against World Call. He did not have the system to verify that all my dues were already cleared and he insisted on me to visit the officem, which is a nuisense as I have to go to my own office in the morning.
Secondly, I was mad to see their double standard policy that they will themselves come, just on a telephone call, to put the connection, but would ask me to go to their office to get it disconnected, which is absurd. I could very well have ignored it all and refused to make the payment, the next time anyone showed up from their office to collect the money.
And when finally I went to their office in Gulberg, Lahore, the guy at the back of the service desk told me that there will be a penalty of Rs.200 per month for as long as I keep the connection blocked and instead suggested me to just let it get disconnected on its own.
Now this was a bit too much. When I want my connection to be simply temporarily blocked (for which they will bear no extra monthly cost whatsoever), why the hell are they charging their clients. But according to the guy its the company policy and he could not help it.

So once again World Call did not disappoint me in proving itself to be exactly up to my expectation. Bravo!
This company knows nothing but pocketing more and more money from its clients, by hook or by crook.

World call system are so lame ! that a friend of mine used World call cable internet for 2 years without there knowledge, the company is suffering major loss due to there lousy automated system, pathetic customer service and horrible billing & recovery system ! even there cable sucks, if it rains there is no cable at my place ! but the good news is that Cyber extreme the one offering DSL is going to launch 180 channels by the end of this year, also Wateen has plans to launch that as well !

Hopefully when there is competition things might improve !
