A woman doesn't need an excuse to be unfaithful - not all women want to be unfaithful for starters...for the main meal, why is there a need for women to be unfaithful? and as dessert, i pose the Q - why should she be unfaithful - if things aren't working, ditch the dimwit and go for gold...simple...or not?
As for a man - I don't believe he NEEDS another woman - just WANTS other WOMEN! Needs to check his greed...

human beings are not MONOGAMOUS naturally. our instincts are POLYGAMOUS. religions and society tell us to go against our nature/insintcs and settle with one partner for life. thats why the institution of marriage was developed.
lust, greed, hunger are all animalistic desires that we have inherent in ourselves. religions and morals tell us to OVERCOME these NATURAL instincts and become civilized humans. so do not freak out if i say we are NATURALLY POLUGAMOUS.
when we get married do we stop finding other people attractive. do our sexual desires become automatically exclusive to one person. no. its because of your love for the partner and the fear of deviation from the norms and morals and society's institution that makes you stop yourself from cheating.
if we were natuarlly MONOGAMOUS then as soon as we setlled with one partner we would stop getting attracted to other people natuarlly like some art of our brain would become altered forever but it doesnt happen that way.
in other words God created us polygamous by nature but wanted us to restrain ourselves and stay monogamous.
now for "women need a REASON to be unfaithful, while a man just needs another woman"
actually its not EXCUSE. its REASON. in case of women.
so anyways i do agree with this to an extent.
most of the time women are cheating because they are in unhappy marriages and/or not getting fulfilling sex because of a dis-intersted husband.
on the other it has been observed that a lot of men who are cheating have otherwise happy marriages with regular sex. which shows that men look for QUANTITY and desire greater number of sexual partners or in other words, compared to women, they get more easily SEXUALLY BORED of their partners.
but at the same time i think this saying is over-rated. new studies show that WOMEN ARE NATURALLY PROGRAMMED TO CHEAT as much as men albeit for different reasons.
how are men naturally programmed to cheat? as i have already stated that its bcos they naturally desire greater number of partners and tend to get sexually bored even if they are with the most gorgeous woman on earth!

yes its true. it has been studied that women cheat with men who are significantly more attractive than their husbands. during the ovulation cycle womens sexual desires are at the peak. but thats not all. their preference for men also changes during this period. they get more attracted to men who are masculine, well built and attractive and thus posessing good genes. its not co-incidence that its this same period when women are most fertile and ready for conception !! mother nature programmed this so that if women had sex during this period becaue of high sex drive it will (1) ensure that she concieves and gets pregnant (2) ensure that the man she chooses will posses good genes for better offspring.

so you are saying that women are more likely to cheat during their periods when they have more sexual desires? can any lady verify the information this person is giving.
not during the 'periods' but during OVULATION. there is a difference between the two. and you dont need any lady to verify that their sexual desires are high at that time. its a scientific fact!

- On a serious note, with changing social and cultural taboos in Pakistan, many married women cheat. Husbands are doing the same with much more frequency
