(Lahore, Pakistan April 21, 2008): Wateen organized a Celebrity Cricket match, at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on the 18th of April. Batting for a full house, the all star lineup included celebrities such as Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam, Jawad Ahmed, Ahmed Ali Butt, Junaid, Xulfi, along with countless other singers, actors and fashion icons.

Organized by JBnJaws, the Celebrity Cricket match attracted a lot of youth as well as media members and they came in abundance to support their favorite stars.
The 3 main teams included Rockers 11, Ali Zafar 11 and Mikaal Hasan 11, with the Rockers 11, which had some of Pakistan’s biggest musicians on the field, coming in first place.

“We had such a phenomenal turnout for the Celebrity Cricket. We tend to forget how to enjoy the quality of life that we all work so hard to create, and an event like this, where you have the top entertainment industry icons participating so willingly, simply reminds us of that.” says Tariq Malik, CEO of Wateen.

The event was sponsored by Wateen, and was an excellent opportunity for hard-at-work professionals to slow down from their regular routines and take in the scenery.
