Wateen has dropped its WiMax rates.
submitted 3 months 23 days 4 hours ago by: AngryYoungMan : 2 commentsJust a few weeks back, we got a Wateen WiMax 1MB connection for our office. The rate then for Wateen's 1MB connection was Rs.1,350 per month.
Three days back, I noticed Wateen had launched its new reduced rates and had placed billboards across Lahore for its promotion. Naturally I was happy that the rates had come down and the new rate for the same 1MB connection is now Rs.799 per month.
But the catch is that these lower rates are not effective for previous connetion holders and are offered only to the new connections. I am kind of pissed at this policy. The call center operator at Wateen's told me that the decision whether to let the old connetions switch or not, will be be taken on 20th of May and there is a chance that it might not be allowed.
I SAY IT's NOT FAIR. What say you ??

WATEEN has got nasty speed NO Matter whether they give you 1MB or 2MB bandwidth.
You will get nasty speed of 50-80K.
they still have bandwidth cap. so why would someone go for them when they have to buy an expensive device in the beginining.
