This is a significant part of our culture. Its however sad how people treat these girls.

Right behind Badshahi mosque. Is also known as Hirra Mundi. If you arrive early i.e. before 9pm, enjoy a beautiful cuisine at Coco's cafe before going in.

Yup. Do visit the place. It is very educational. You will see the other side of life. And it is also very painful to see how "flesh" is sold. Extremely disturbing.

Nearly two years back there was a TV documentary about this red light zone primarily to publicize the sheer efforts of Commissioner Lahore to revive the ‘true spirit’ of this area in context of food street etc.
In the documentary when a local ‘broker’ was questioned about some ‘business activities’, he strongly refuted the charges and maintained that now it was a mere allegation because most of the girls had shifted their abodes to posh areas of the city as the market was facing a shifting trend.
Further ‘nobles’ now preferred rock music and demand High Standard n Sophisticated Stuff, which they cannot offer. While new centers established in posh localities of the city were meeting their requirements round the clock with no fear of any interference from undesired quarters.
So now gone the days when there were brothels – all such absurd words have been replaced by decent ones like massage centers and health clubs.
And where you suggest the poorest people go for prostitution? Or are you suggesting that they don't? I think you are in complete denial.

I am not saying that area is absolutely 'clean' now, (your 1 AM statement is right) if read it again - it was contended by the 'Broker"

Yeah it was always there, but still confined and had some ‘boundaries’ and ‘checks’ but now a days the most worrisome part is that ‘people’ are so daring that they do not to waste any opportunity and time.
May it be public park, parking lot, private transport or ambulance (with revolving light and hooter– yes exactly). Nearly three months back there was a report in press that Mayo Hospital ambulances were used for this purpose. Some on roads some stood in parking bay – apparently out of order but were generating ‘good business’.
Drive ‘dead slow’ at night in posh localities soon you will be approached by the potential ones. Go to any public park in the evening – you will find ‘enlightened ones’ having nice time without any worry/fear that they are being watched by general public.
The other day one of my friend was quite up set, incidentally he, with his family, got stuck in a traffic jam near Q-Stadium, the car behind him (having black sun screen shades) was displaying X- movie shot.
- Mayo Hospital ambulances were used for this purpose........Well helping the suffering humanity in one way or the other :-)

24 - Al Noor The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication flog each of them with a hundred stripes: let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment. (2)
Let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry any but a woman similarly guilty, or an Unbeliever: nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever marry such a woman: to the Believers such a thing is forbidden. (3)
Dude, go check defination of adultery. It means cheating on your husband or wife. Adultery and prostitution are two entirely separate things. Since prostitutes are not married therefore they are not involved in adultery.
Moreover, its not up to the prostitute to determine adultery. The person cheating on his/her spouse is responsible and the hired prostitute (who probability don't even know about his/her client being married) is not.
People quote Quran without even knowing what they are talking about. It has become a common phenomenon now a days.

From your post it appears as Adultery is sin where as prostitution is a respectable profession. (please let us know the dictionary/ dogma which supports your lousy argument).
Further it is understandable from your post that you are suggesting that in order to safe guard this ‘respectable profession’ from any alleged disgrace ‘prostitutes’ should seek OATH or at least have a Performa filled by the respected person regarding his /her marital status, so if that questioned they could not be held ‘guilty’ – since they are so naïve and innocent. Or may be they should put a banner clearly stating only ‘Bachelors and spinsters are entitled for ‘entertainment’ so that every body stood vindicated of adultery allegation. Do not you think this will do un-justice to the ‘married people’ who are fond of this? Where they should go for such entertainment ??

- The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication...........The word "guilty" is the catch word. And in order to be found guilty, you need four witnesses and a solid proof. So if you are doing adultry (with conscent, discretely) you cannot be punished with lashes.

Doc, how ever I call recall two incidents in Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life, where in two individuals (one male other female- on two separate occasions) voluntarily came to Prophet (PBUH) and made confession of their adultery, a quest to purify themselves from this grave sin. Though Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) twice tried to evade their confessions however on their third time confession He inquired few questions later as per DIVINE LAW they were stoned to death.
( Some stupids might term this as ‘barbaric’ act, however this ‘barbaric punishment’ was in fashioned since the time of Moses also (PBUH)- again as per DIVINE LAW stated in Taurah).
Stoned to death is not Islamic :)

Divine law must come from Quran and shall not be the creation of people's imagination.
For example translation of 24-2 goes as follow:
"The adulterer and the adulteress shall each be given a hundred lashes."
Now I don't know forcefully adding "fornication" i.e. altering the divine message of God would be considered ignorance, innovation of Shirk in case of MSEhsan. Secondly how were hundred lashes translated into stoning to death is also a jigsaw that I failed to solve.
God did not ask for stoning to death as punishment for prostitution is not my fault. If you have problems complain with God instead of showing me your attitude. I did not make those laws, God did.

The Arabic word 'Zina' has to be checked. I think it stands for both adultery and fornication.
Yes indeed all the experts who translated Quran were wrong all along for translating Zina as adultery

With all the wisdom in your head can you tell us where it is written in Quran that how many Raqaats are in Fajr, Zuhar, Asar, Mughreb and Isha prayers?
How to say Azaan? How to say these prayers? By what percentage amount of Zakat is payable? Where it is written in Quran to Say Azaan in the ear of new born baby? How to say Namaz-e- Jinnaza of your dead ones? Etc. etc.
I believe if you are not regular in your daily prayers even then you would be punctual for Namaz-e-Jummah, or for that matter Eid Namaz only.
Baber, should we say you are so stupid that despite having so intellectualism for so many years you have been associating yourself with an ‘incomplete religion’, which is unable to guide you in ‘MINOR’ matters as listed above.

At the time of First and Last Haj of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he gave various important sermons to his followers and sought a concrete witness from them that HE had passed on all of the messages and instructions of Allah which were revealed to him. All of the followers replied in affirmation.
During one of the said sermons HE apprised them that HE was leaving Quran and His Sunnah (the practical demonstration- the way he lived his life as Prophet) for the Followers, he further ordered them that till they adhere to these two they will not go astray.
I wonder, even now some body (a believer) needs any further explanation.

Anyways apparently this time you have shown up with more ‘preparations’, indeed a few moments ago I was checking your availability on your buzz.
So before we move on to the said arena, let me tell you – By the Grace of GOD, I am a Believer, ever trying to excel in my faith regardless of my humanly deficiencies. I am not an angel or pure soul. Humans do make errors……….knowingly or unknowingly – but one who repents over his sinful deeds and keeps his promise ‘not to do again’, for such surely my God is ever Forgiving and Merciful. ( This is the Divine Promise by GOD).
Before we get down to business, just a comment on your post, I sincerely wish that you read Quran, by reading it you would have found answers to your questions yourself.
Unfortunately your religious dogma supports nearly a million gods and goddesses. Where in the followers of your religion have associated a unique attribute to each of the deity, by virtue of that every single deity is specific ‘master’ for that part only (like god of life, god of death, god of rain, god of wealth, god of war etc. etc. By distributing and decentralizing the Divine Powers your religion cannot apprehend that How come one single GOD can manage all matters? How come HE alone is enough for this Universe?

these areas should be more accessible to the average pakistani male who is sexually frustrated.
the seediness associated with these areas should be eliminated. they should be regulated. i mean its really sad that a guy has to think 10 times before going here because there is always a risk of police harassing him or getting mugged etc.
adultery is when you cheat. so if a single guy goes to a prostiutute its only pre-marital sex which should be judged in the same way as a guy having sex with his girlfried or a one night stand with a girl from his college/workplace etc.
And "Mut'a" or temporary marriage is allowed in the Quran. Going to a prostitute isnt any different. You pay them their dower which is the agreed upon rate and leave them after the agreed period of co-habitation (depending on your own stamina) is over :-)
