The US government has given the green light to the production and marketing of foods derived from cloned animals.
After six years of study, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ruled that meat and milk from cloned pigs, cattle and goats and their offspring is safe.

Here questions arise that what should Muslims do, because in ISLAM Cloning is not Allowed.

No1.How can they say that the food will be safe to eat and will not contain any diseases.
No2. If cloning is used for food i think it would cost more then what it cost in market because its not cheaper .
...!
I don't think that this decission would be taken without having a long period Search and studies...
Offcourse, they would have found the feasibility
- Regarding Cost
- Regarding Healthfulness
and decided to launch as production sector

Question .what should muslims do about cloning as its not allowed in islam?
Answer. In my opinion muslim scholars should have a meeting and decide according to quran and sunnah and then give a Fitwa.
The Question: What should Muslims do, because in ISLAM Cloning is not Allowed?
To me, Mushlims should make themselves UNITE first. Since we really don't belive in unity, there is nothing that can make the difference.
Cloning on the other hand is not a big deal. Since they are not imposing the rule to buy these products from markets. And I am sure there are lots of Muslim Markets to serve Muslim Communities all over the world. So there is no point to give any Fatwa or thing like that...

Where do you come up with this absurdity that Islam does not allow cloning?
Well Khalifah Sb. there is nothing in support of cloning also in Islam. So is it like "No news is good news".
On the contrary Mr AmerSarfraz, if you took the time to refer to your religious texts you will see that plenty of arguments exist in favour of cloning.
In fact, I will leave you with this hadith to ponder over.
The halal is which Allah has made
Lawful in His Book, and the haram is
that which He has forbidden and that
which He kept silent about is permitted
as a favour to you
That is fine....but I guess before the question of anything of this being Halal or Haram, its important to establish whether cloning is allowed. If we start taking re-production in our hands too, isn't it negating the laws of nature. I for one am definitely against this idea.
No we are not negating any laws. In fact Allah calls man his vicegerent which literally means that man has been given administrative authority over nature(creatures, etc) as it pertains to this earth. Meaning he is free to tame or use nature to his benefit whether it be through building dams, levees or through selective breeding of plants and animals and by inference, through cloning.
We should not be afraid of technological advancements and nor should our religious beliefs or sensitivities be threatened by it for Islam lays great stress on knowledge and experimentation
