Ufone is not far behind when it comes to marketing and hammering its brand into the minds of the consumers, although it is probably not as annoying as others are with their lenghty advertisements and the latest "INNOVATION" of selling their service by singing and dancing.
In the attached image, you can see the rally of motorbikes hired by Ufone for giving a new flavour to "mobile marketing".
I don't find any reason for all these companies Not To Market their brands with new packages and promotions that are ultimately going in favour of the consumer, but what these companies need to understand is that there is a segment of the market (which definitely is increaing) that is becoming more and more quality conscious rather than being price sensitive.
All the sevice providers (atleast Mobilink that I am using), are an absolute failure when it comes to quality of service. There are 4 major problems that I face with Mobilink.
1) Increasingly you end up hearing a voice on the other end which is not familiar (i.e.) you intend to call someone else and the lines mix-up, forcing you and some other person to apologize and redial and sometimes, even get embarassed !
2) Line Drops. This problem has been there with mobilink for as long as I remember and there is nothing whatsoever that is ever done to resolve this issue.
3) You are calling someone and waiting for the bell to ring and it is taking forever. Finally when you look at your phone to redial, you come to notice that the call is connected but the voice is not getting through. So free revenue for Mobilink. Good for them.
4) You called someone and the lady with the most beautiful voice in the world tells you that "The number you are dialing is switched off, please try later". And I have recently found that if you redial that same number, the call will be connected.
So please if someone from cellular companies is reading this, tell them to spend some money on making the quality better rather than spending those millions and billions on advertising.

You are absolutely right. Many people are facing these problems with Mobiling. Thanks God, I'm using Warid's service which is comparetively better than others.

I's just trying a mobilink no. First, I got the message: Not responding
Secondly: Aap ko is no par call ki ijazat naheen hay
and the third time I got the bell ringing on the other end.
It's really not understandable.

Nooooooooooo!

Oh, nobody emailed? ;)
sigh....since i joined mobilink, i have heard nothing but complaints frm ppl around me.....even ufone and zong have launched an intensive media assault against those PKR 1.40 charges by jazz (off the record; attack justified)....
i guess i m really close to being branded as "sabz qaddam" :(
Ohh...now I figured why Mobilink found the need to do that campaign for attracting "GOOD" Team Members ;)
