As we all heard the turn over events at the top Management of Warid Telecom & Ufone when both the CEO left there job (though the ufone CEO was fired). This is the second time in the year when warid lost its CEO.
Mr. Abdul Aziz (x-ceo of Warid) has now beeing appointed as the CEO/MD of ufone. Although Mr Mubashar Naqvi CEO of ufone was offered a job at Warid but he didnt accept the offer. So far Warid is having a hard time getting a good CEO as this is the second time in an year when Warid lost its CEO and once again the positiong of CEO, CFO and CTO is empty at Warid. Warid do have the option to bring in the management from SingTel but that would loose the control over the company and put a lable that singtel is taking over Warid.
With Mr. Abdul Aziz returning back to Ufone puts tons of pressure on the top management at Ufone who will be fired one by one. As the previous management played hell when Mr. Abdul Aziz and his team left the ufone 3-4 years back and making every effort to give them a bad reputation. It is expected that Mr. Abdul Aziz will be joing the Ufone headoffice in Islamabad today.

Well,
Critical analysis of an ordinary customer U Fone Vs Warid Telecom.
U fone is avaliable everywhere while warid connection do not work and people who travel to remote places of the country like mountains and villages they suffer heavily because they
don't recieve the signal. On the other hand "Warid" connection is cheaper and most of the people who use it
mobile phones users can easily afford it. Most of the young people use it Warid at midnight after 12.00 or 1.00 to talk to there girl friends and boy friends.
CEO:-
As far as CEO's are concerned in my opinion its just a healthy competition between the two (warid and U fone)and the CEO 's get better offer to work from the other side in competition so thats part of it and its fair .It happens and it just indicates that how tough the competition is there .

As I see it, from the company perspective, its blackmailing. CEOs and the rest of the management switches for a better package offered by the competition and similarly the CEO and management of the other company also switches for the same reasons. So end of the day, the loser is the COMPANY.
This switching though healthy, has become a continuous process of Hops and Nots all depending on the salary package. The loyalties are not there and a lot is at stake for the companies. There have been instances when people leave jobs with some critical projects in the middle and the companies can do nothing but to live with this nightmare.
Similarly, there are no business secrets, all the secrets of one company naturally are disclosed to the other company as the CEO makes a switch.
Individually you can say that the employee is at benefit.

Amer Sarfraz sahab,
I agree with what you wrote and your abosolutly right but i think the companies should employ people and make them sign the contract if they care so much for what is at stake for the companies and i am also surprised to know that such widely used mobile phone companies warid and U fone don't sign the contract even at CEO level. I think its a failure of there own policies .Switching is healthy and the employers are the beneficaries so why should we care about the company as companies are made to benefit people and they earn alot of revenues.
