There is someone waiting for you at home.
submitted 6 months 26 days 17 hours ago by: AngryYoungMan : 2 commentsToday morning, as I passed through Sher Pao Bridge (Lahore, Cantt) as my daily routine to office, I saw a red coulour Suzuki Margalla turtled on the top of the bridge, where there is a bend.
I did not see how this accident happened, but I could see the damage it had done. The car was standing on its side and the policemen were trying to drop it ack on its wheels. There was no one in the car, or atleast I couldn't see anyone while crossing it, but I was thinking what would happened to the passengers. God only knows, as I could not stop and inquire about it (there was a long queue of cars behind me).
Anyway, throughout my journey to my office, I kept thinking about that accident and many more that keep happening around us for one reason or the other, but mostly, the reason is rash reckless driving. Either we are in a hurry to reach somewhere OR it's someone else was was in a hurry and bumped into our car OR we're just in that mood to drive fast for that adernaline rush through our blood.
Through this post, I just wanted to share this so that someone may think before he or she attempts to put his and others life in danger.
There is one more very important thing that we all must not forget. WEARING OF SEAT BELTS. God I cannot stress on this minor thing more. It can be the deciding factor for YOU TO LIVE or DIE. Please do wear seat belts as first thing when you sit in that car seat. Make it a habit. Don't think of it as a FASHION or Fancy thing. Its a basic thing that needs to be done. I know a lot of people who don't wear it just because others will thing I am trying to be a smart ass (in Pakistan(, trust me you are not. In civilized countries its a compulsion and you are liable to be charged by the wardens.
One last thing, take special care of the children, get bucket seats for them and you must put them behind seat belts also and make sure to keep your children in the back seat, never on the front seat and FOR GOD's SAKE, please get the excitement of putting your child in your lap while driving OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM. It can be very very dangerous.
These small things do matter and can make a difference of Just Another Breath and the Last Breath. Do remember always, there is someone waiting for you at home.

Considerate indeed! :)
In Isl, they fine you for not wearing the seat belt. No harm of thinking of it as something fanciful if it will make ppl wear the belt. Rather then they will definitely do it. Yes, I think that is what the sell should be based on. :)
Good post!
