Today, I felt myself in another world just for 7 minutes. There was no voice, no noise, and not another human being. There was only me with myself.

The place was so cold for first four minutes than it started suffocating then. It was so dark that I could not even see my hands. I tried to feel myself but couldn’t. It seemed to me that some one had lodged me like Anarkali. I was just going to sing Supreme Ishq (my fav song) but someone had tried to hold me from my neck. The grip was so severe and strong that it was difficult for me to breathe. I forgot every thing, the song, the ishq, Eman Ali, my new gloss, my untouched sandals, my unstitched suits (my B’day gifts), my new chocolate bar which I had put in my wardrobe for some rainy days, my 1000/- rupees which I had given to some one, my new gold chain, my parents, my siblings, every thing. I forgot every thing. Just trying to breathe….. It seemed to me that I was in my grave. Oh…. It was happened so swiftly that I didn’t offer any specific prayer I was planning for. I prayed from my heart. “O Allah! Gimme some more time to consummate my new sandals which are very expensive and I did not find any occasion yet to wear them. No one of my friends has seen them. Please Allah Ta’ala gee, some more time. And yes yes I would try my best to offer all prayers and all my duties in time and I will definitely try to be nice with everyone. I took each breath as it would have been be my last one. Suddenly door opened with a jerk. Ahhh……..I am a free gal now. I took some deep breaths and turned to the lift man; “kahan par mauj masti kar rahay thay aap log, pata nai chalta k koi ander bhi phans sakta hai is load shedding k season mai. Kam chor saray k saray”. hhhmmmm…… I should finish my chocolate first. ***Gimme gimme more….gimme more***
