Suicide attack in Islamabad today left 19 killed and 40 injured. Out of the 19, 15 were police officers.

The blast occoured near the Melody Chowk in Islamabad after the Lal Masjid Conference that took place to mark the annivarsary of the Lal Masjid killings last year.

At least four US FBI agents were among the injured in a bomb attack at a popular restaurant in Islamabad, Pakistan, ABC television reported Sunday. ABC, which did not identify its source on the online report said, “multiple sources said the attack was under investigation to see whether it was based on the terrorists having learned in advance of the agents' presence.

A blast took place in Islamabad today at an Italian resturant in Islamabad. The authorities declared that it was not a suicide bomber attack. According to the authorities 12 poeple have been injured with 3 as Pakistani nationals, 5 Americans, 1 Turkish, 1 Japanese, 1 British citizen and 1 Canadian. A Turkish women,Ms. Elaine, has died in the blast.

Recently there have been bogus alarms of bombs placed at different schools in Lahore. Three days back there was an alert at LGS (Lahore Grammar School) and the very next day, LCAS (Lahore College of Arts and Sciences) had bomb alert.
