'Maria' is 20-year-old Marine Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach, who disappeared from Camp Lejeune, outside of Jacksonville, N.C., on Dec. 14, 2007, one month before she was expected to give birth. As the local police enlisted the press to help reach out to Lauterbach and solicit information from the local community, it was soon reported that she had recently accused a superior at Camp Lejeune of rape.

Poor country, poor people and especially poor females. I am feeling sympathy for them:(. A country with non-discriminated rule of law and suppose to be the liberal and democratic. A country which propagates that we gives equal rights to male and female.

The US does give equal rights to males and females, more so than any other nation. Crimes occur anywhere and everywhere, but to pass a sweeping judgment over one isolated incidence is the biggest crime of all.

Pakistan is not a perfect country (not even close), I agree, but so isn't America. There are a lot of evils in American society and to be honest most of the crimes we have in the third world countries are either imposed by America or adopted from america. Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and blatant threats to Iran and Syria and every other country that they want to show down are all accredited to America's hostile intentions. They call it a war against terrorism, who the hell are they to decide the world order. As you claim in many of your comments yourself, countries that are oppressed, should be oppressed. Please tell that to your President also. Live and let them live, let the soverign countries decide on their own what they want to do in their country as they only know best what to do with it.
Apart from this world harassment, USA has whole lot evils within its own society. Suppression of other races, century old tussle between blacks n whites. Drugs, child abuse, rapes, gay/ lesbian phenomenon and what not. Undue prmotions/demotions on the basis of likings and dislikings (recent fame gained by World Bank President). So how can you defend America of all blames.
I can come up with many more stories, it's not an occassional one off event, but number of them. So please get your facts right before you shamelessly go out defending your beloved country and nation.

I don't claim that America is without sin; I just don't care for the gross exageration that most buzzers engage in. They seem to have this deep seated hatred inside them for America and Jews that is not instilled by any outward experience but by the constant dose of hatred fed to them by their mosques, peers and families

In late 1990's The top five countries in the world in terms of rapes per million population were South Africa, Australia, Canada, USA and New Zealand. Pakistan's rape ratio is one of the lowest in the world. The ratio between Pakistan and USA is 1 to 46 on the basis of per million population.(the nation)
In 2006 murder cases in Pakistan 10048, burglary cases are 12872, robbery cases are 14630.

It's not the matter of figures or comparison Zeb. We understand that Pakistan has issues and problems and USA or may be any other developed western country is far better, but one should not always spread the bad image of Pakistan. Khalifah, please ponder.
Consider some foreigner visiting this blog, there aren't many hateful comments against America as much you have published against Pakistan. What impression would they get of a Pakistani forum with Pakistani bashing every damn thing about Pakistan. Most of the negative comments I have seen here are coming from you and it's mostly in retaliation that the members here post comments about Jews and America or whatever.
This post by Zeb was simply digging the news hushed under myriad of news and was outrightly laughing in the face of American hypocricy, but you have taken it as your duty to hush it up again, WHY. He did not make up a story out of nothing, it was a fact and is a published truth. So when something true comes out exposing America's darker side, you hush it away saying it's a one off incident and otherwise you talk of substance without self assumptions.
The other instance was of the recent post by Pinky about Repairing the image of Pakistan where she had a genuine suugestion out of love for her country, but you started pin-pointing the negative sides of it. Common yar, we know the picture is not very rosy here, so why do you have to give it on our face everytime instead of trying to do something to make things better.
Zeb, have you ever tried to register an 'FIR' in Pakistan? Try and you will realize why those numbers are so skewed.
Rape victims in Pakistan invariably stay silent because
1. The law is stacked against them
2. They think it will give their family a bad name

Don't try to exaggerate the things. Americans have no such qualms, America is the best place for living so on and so on. Just stop it man. Talking Parrot is much better than u at least sometime it might not repeat human words but u r continuously under confused pro-american thoughts. But u should feel proud of it.:)
If we Pakistanis are not according to ur standards then please let us build our own ways. If you are thinking that America is the best in some aspects then u should also consider this thing that they are at this place after more than 200 years of independence.

The reason Pakistan is in this state is because Pakistani's refuse to accept that there is a problem, they gloss over the issues, and blame everyone but themselves.
All I am trying to do is to allow people to start thinking with their minds and not their emotions and to give up these fantastic notions that there is a Christian vs. Muslim battle around the world and somehow this mystic Jewish lobbly is behind it all.
It is a simple fact that some states, due to their inability to govern themselves have made themselves 'highly exploitable', add mineral wealth/strategic location to the equation and other states WILL exploit them for this reason and not because of their religion.
Pink Pathan, the first thing to do when you are sick is to accept the fact that you are sick, then you seek medical assistance. You don't go into denial mode and tell everyone that you are not sick and that everyone should try to paint a rosy picture about your health. Nor should you start blaming someone else for your sickness.

KHALIFA JEE: If some one is sick then one should not propogate it all around the glob that i am sick. "Accepting some thing " is a different phenomenon. We all do accept that we are in worst state of affairs but it doesnt mean that we should loath our community, society or country....If in a home there is some problem, we identify it and rectify it but we dont propogate it becasue we dont want others to hit our turbin.
Amarica has a history of 200 years and we are just 60. they have mature media who dont propogate bad image of their country(as they never report killings of US army in irq, afghanistan). Our media is in transition phase so it speaks lound than needed.
