Plight of Women commuters.

But the scene has not changed. It seems that a herd of cows/goats are
transported from one place to another.
The situation gets even worse when males enter into female
compartments and tries to get a place closer to a female. It happens
most of the time and often in rush timings, mostly in the evenings. The
situation gets even worse when vulgur songs are played on full volume.
Just imagine. Vulgur songs in full volume. Jammed packed
compartments. Over speeding by drivers and frequent breaking which help
people to get into each other. Smoke emmiting from other vehicles etc
etc.
As per the law there should be no tape recorder running in public
transport. As per the law the women compartment to be separated from
mens compartment by erecting a steel grill in between. But still no one
follows the law and it keeps on going like this...
Sometime back I asked a conducter that why dont you stop men
entering into ladies compartment, he answered me that they are here to
earn not to think of others. I said dont you have sisters and mother,
he said Yes, I do have but they dont go out like this.
I thought it was better for me to keep quiet.
One of my colleague went to Iran. He told me that the public transport
in Iran is excellent. He told me that contrary to Pakistan the ladies
compartment in Iran is behind and the mens compartment is in front. I
asked why is that so. He said, because of the reason that men cannot
watch them from sitting behind. Now please dont say that men can watch
women even from standing in front. Positive thing is the solution which
they thought of and implemented.
They are humans like us and GOD has given them the same brain like
we have. The difference is that they came up with a solution as they
wanted a healthy environment. But here in Pakistan no body bothers and
no one is concerned.
Why to blame others when we are ignorant.

This kind of harassement is very common in Pakistan. It can witnessed even in work organizations. Due to these harassment many women avoid working in offices even if they have more potential then men.

So basically your ideals are very closely alligned with those of the taliban. No music, women segregated, etc
How about educating people instead of taking away civil liberties? I haven't come across too many educated perverts
Women segregation is not a solution to this problem, but educating men is almost impossible.No matter how educated they are most of them have low mentality.There are very few whom I ve seen truly respecting women.
Woman you have a point. but dont expect these "leaders" to do anything.

From where to start....sexual perversion in the Islamic world. I have travelled on the british tube for many years where their is no segregation and no sexual harrasment and abuse. At rush hours, one is literally clinging on to one another with no incident or even a thought of sexual abuse. This issue is only reflected in our so called islamic republic where no women is safe from the hungry muslim men.
