submitted 12 months 1 day ago by: razorfish : 3 commentsI came across this news yesterday and thought of sharing it here, as I did not notice it being published here before.
Our ex-Chief Justice, Mr. Iftikhar Chaudhry, has been awarded the Harvard Law School 'Medal of Freedom', the hightest honour of the school.
The honour has been awarded as an appreciation for the fight for freedom of justice by the ex-Chief Justice and the lawyer community in Pakistan. It's a great honour for freedom fighters in Pakistan to be acknolwedged and supported by the legal community throughout the whole world, who have voed to stand by them in such crisis.
I just pray this revolution keeps on building till supremecy of extreme dictatorship by ruling party leaders is up-rooted once and for all from Pakistan.
THE FIGHT MUST GO ON !

As usual, our heroes are applauded abroad and betrayed at home.

we all pakistanis are behind our Chief Justice. and i dont like to call him Ex-Chief Justic because he is still the CJ. so i will request all the people not to call him ex.
pakistanis are not betraying their CJ. u may have seen the results of the recent election. all votes when for ANTI Musharaf parties and for restoration of all Judges. the environment of pakistan is not as easy in other courntries and protests etc are not beared with happy face so we are doing what we can. and u will see in next few day the Black Flag Week is celebrated.
