India to Grow its IT from $1.0 to $15 Billion by 2015 and Pakistan is at $108 Million

Indian companies should embrace innovation and focus on developing original software, industry leaders said Tuesday at a technology forum in Bangalore. They challenged Indian entrepreneurs to grow the country’s output of software from the current $1 billion to $15 billion by 2015.

On the other hand Pakistan has a $108 million output from software for the year 2006-2007,
The Pakistani authorities have no idea what to say to the young entrepreneurs and how to help them, they would strongly suggest that the young entrepreneures should only register to PASHA(Pakistan software Houses Association) by paying 15 000 and then with PSEB(Pakistan Software Export Board) for Rs 5 000/ before building anything else.

I hope software export from Pakistani will increase but to compete with India can not predicatable. Pakistani guys will need to work hard. May Allah bless our Pakistan.

Pakistani's have the talent (ample amounts of it) what they lack is a stable economy, a safe environment, a true government and implementation of law for the good of the general public.

None of these factors seem to be resolvable in the near future and by that time it may be too late to compete in this volatile market
