Benazir - Musharraf: FRIEND or FOE
submitted 9 months 27 days 18 hours ago by: amersarfraz : 1 commentBenazir finally seems to have given up all hope and has urged Musharraf to step down as a dictator.
She gave this statement as a response to her detention in Lahore on the day she had called a Long March rally against emergency in Pakistan.
If one looks at the flip side of the coin, this whole Benzair Bhutto return fiasco started with a long started negotiation (DEAL as is mostly known) between the government (General Musharraf to be exact) and PPP (Benazir to be exact).
So what is it, is it really a row or is it just another game that they are trying to play. As for me, I smell some fish in the pond.

Benazir has managed to hijack the anti-Musharraf movement and has turned it into a joke. She has failed to convince her party workers to take to the streets enmasse.
So apparently she is either helping Musharraf or she really has no 'street power' to speak of. Which incidentally means that the 'crowd' at her 'home coming' was organized by Musharraf.
Either way, if street power is any indication then the most 'popular' leader currently IS Musharraf.
