How to take a holiday in Pakistan
submitted 9 months 10 days 5 hours ago by: amersarfraz : 6 comments
I have just read this article by a BBC correspondent in Pakistan, Mr. Hugh Sykes and it really touched my heart. For the first time in the last many weeks or may be months, I have felt good about Pakistan and thought of sharing it with all the rest of you that you may also see the better side of Pakistan. It truly is a break from the tensions of being in a country under civil war and one is forced to think that everything is not bad about this country, there is a lot to cherish here also.
So I would urge you all to also have a read and give your comments. Here is the link

This is very good article. Thanks for the great sharing. I hope Pakistan will come back to the normal situation soon.
thnx amir as we the bbc have been criticised recently for giving one side of the real picture of PK and i think in current situation article like syke's will be so helpful to rub off that negative image of PK in common folk of west and btw i have forwarded your msg to sykes as well and he is infcat thrilled that how people pick positives about pakistan and appreciate that.
Thanks for sharing the info.
We are very unfortunate as a nation that we were blessed with a peice of heaven on earth but we never guarded it or were sincere to our motherland. It is today one of the most troubled palces onearth.
I have been trying to convince some of my friends to visit Pakistan with me during the coming holidays. They are quite eager to do so. One of my freinds had evenmade reservations for Pakistan. But with warning issued by the Australian government to its citizen not to visit Pakistan and with all that they see in the news, they are very apprehensive now.
It is indeed very sad and embarrassing...!
Sorry, I forgot to compliment you earlier, on posting such a beautiful photo...!
Good work!
Owsome article, finally i got a chance to read something worth while, i am really sick of all news as it only shows that we are living in hell though majority of it does not apply for all.... i hope this beauty of Pakistan becomes more prominant and permanent.
Thanks, Mr. Hugh Sykes for such a nice article.
Go ahead, grab onto straws...
