There is news of shelling being done against lawyers' protest at Lahore High Courts on Mall Road.

Lawyers are protesting against the recent action by Chief of the Army Staff, General Pervez Musharraf at the Lahore High Court. I have heard that the government, in an attempt to disperse the gathering. There are stories that there have been a number of arrests of lawyers also. Infact, I have heard anyone wearing a black coat has been a victim of the action. No news yet of any injuries (if any).

A friend of of a friend, who is also a lawyer, told that he changed his dress to a normal dress just to avoid any incident.

So this is the state of affairs here in Lahore.
