POLIO in Pakistan. what do you think the reasons of highly growing number of polio cases in Pakistan

A news channel explored yesterday that in 2008 there are more than70 POLIO cases observed in almost all parts of Pakistan.  Inspite of this that the Govt. has taken and spent billions of dollars of charity from UN and other countries in the name of POLIO FREE PAKISTAN PROGRAM 1998.  Most of the nations around the globe are polio free today, but we aren't.  A study tells that in most of the polio free countries, they people achieved the goal only after 4 to 5 rounds of POLIO VACCINATION in their countries, but in Pakistan we have more than 50 polio vaccination rounds across the country.  Each child reported bearer of polio virus was vaccined at least twice or thrice in past, but still he/she has polio virus.

As a Pakistani, I know my country fellows well than any other country's people know us.  Although I am a positive person usually, but in this case my all thought come to only one point, the reason of polio's strong existance in Pakistan, is corruption.  Yes I think, these are we bloody corrupt Pakistani's and corrupt Pakistan's Govts who are taking charities and filling their bank accounts and vaccinating children with 3 drops of plain water (which usually itself contains several viruses and diseases in Pakistan) inspite of Polio vaccine.  There is no other reason i can see that if it was real polio vaccine medicines vaccinated to children 3 to 4 times and some time reported 8 to 10 times a child, but there is still Polio virus.  Alaas, may Allah guide the corrupt nation with the righteous path.

Didn't reach all the children either.

I am more concerned about the 'highly growing' number of children in Pakistan. How about a 'Child free Pakistan' program; maybe a  moratorium on having kids or a one child policy?

Why not the adults, Khalifah?

Well what i think is ..as u know their is no accountablity for any kind of work in pakistan.Same goes with polio funds... there is no accountablity for distribution of funds the  teams that work on feild go door to door earn only 150 rs per day. How wud they get motivation to go door to door and work honestly. The big guns on the other hand earn in 6 figures just for sitting in offices and making fancy reports.

Then cold chain of vaccine breaks long before it reaches the child. and you cant do anything about it ...thepolitics going around at higher level and paramedics level...

Polio free pakistan is impossible to achieve until everyone who works for it starts thinking that polio can someday effect their house maybe...
