Jawaid hashmi started his political career from IJT in 1970s when he won election of PU student union. He belongs to sadat family of multan which have no GUDDI , no Shrine and no Peeri Mureedi. Jawaid hashmi has seen all the weathers in his life. He proved himself The man of subtance in muhsaraf's prison. This was not 1st time when he served prison but from his student life he is facing this. He remained in prison in Bhutto age when Ghulam mustafa Khar's men had kidnapped a girl from PU and hashmi went alone by jumping the wall of governor house...He was caught and badly beaton and accused for Decoties in Governor house punjab.PML N didnt give him respect for which he was entitled becasue Nawaz family cant bear a leader in his league...
Jawaid Hashmi should be nominated as president because:
1-He has no corruption charges
2-He can earn PML Q's support for presidency
3-JI , FATA members, BNP and other smaller parties' senators and NA members will support him
4-He has a goodwill in PPP as well so many hidden votes can come to him
Even though he cant be selected but he will give a tough time to un-opposed president zardari

I am also shocked on PML-N's ignoring attitude for Hashmi. No one can dared except him to speak truth against Pak Army in military rule. He is a very impressive debator and speaks with logic not like other dumb leaders of PML-N.
He looks old and tired all the time. I object.

seen Mr Hashmi , few times on tv, he seems a decent person

i hope if zardari is elected , he will invest few billion of his money to
give a boost to pakistan's economy
More like he will use country's resources to boost his own economy.

No this post is out dated becasue PML N nominated Justice retired Saeed-Uzaman siddique: This nomination is non-political but good in the ways:
1-He was the justice who refused to take 2nd oath of PCO in muhsaraf's occupation
2-He belongs to sindh, thus the excuse of other province is no more considerable
3-He is a litrate man with clear hands and no corruption
But here is a disadvantage that he cant make and break alliances , though Nawaz will do it on his behalf
Hence the old and tired looks!!
And also he could compete better with Zardari, given the terms served in prison.... :)
