Innovative solution
With the exorbitant rise in flour prices, the poor can only afford to eat once a day now. The least our government can do to help is to introduce flour sachets for only one roti thus reducing the people's misery of buying the unaffordable flour bag.

Thanks
you are welcome.
Do write long stories too
How practical is such innovation though? will one have to queue for a satchet for every meal - thus, reducing one's life to making that single roti and queuing up for another food stamp..? wouldn't the packaging be costly? not to mention the admin work involved in issuing one satchet at a time...? a penny for ur thoughts...
I hope I didn't sound like a wet blanket in the above comment...also, I noticed an amendment or two ought to be in order on my part --- u mentioned that the poor can only afford to eat once a day and I spoke of them having to queue for every meal (assuming they would get food three times a day!)...after reading ur statement agn, I assume that u were talking about the poor having to pay their way through one meal (affordability aspect!) and thus, non-reliant on aid...
However, irregardless of this innovation, I still stick to my guns and reckon the gov can do more than simply make life easier for the poor by way of making smaller satchets of roti available -- let's talk of empowering the poor, initiaves for ensuring sufficiency (agriculture, employment, skills dev???)...and the gov ought to give aid (but one roti a day is simply not ample!)
What I really wanted to convey by this writing was:
- The high prices of flour
- Now poor people in Pakistan can only eat once a day which is really alarming
- One ROTI sachet is intended at hitting at the Government for failing on all counts
Thus, ur message has been conveyed! :)
