Irresponsible reporting

A state controlled Media channel in its zeal to be the first one flashing the “breaking news” pronounced our well known poet Ahmad Faraz dead while he is still alive and is recovering in a hospital in United States.
It was a heartless error which simply shows irresponsible reporting causing great pain to many people across the globe. Though we as a nation are not known to respect our artists while they are alive, declaring them dead while they are still breathing is simply outrageous. Mr Ahmad Faraz must be remembering Mirza Ghalib’s poetic narration “Mujaih Kya Bura Tha Marna, Agar Aik Bar Hota”

I believe it was the family that had reported that and later refuted it!
I am expecting a reply from Mr Farhatullah Babar, Spokesperson of PPP on 15th of August in Daily Times. Let's see what he says.

By the way, why don't you ask Barbar; all his relatives are in the WHO'S WHO LIST.
I don't agree with this: Though we as a nation are not known to respect our artists.
As a Pakistani, I not only respect my artists, rather sometimes I have a quarell with someone who doesn't respect them.
