Abhinav Bindra won India's first ever individual Olympic gold medal when he claimed the men's 10m Air Rifle shooting title. Athens Games champion Zhu Qinan of China won the silver and Henri Hakkinen of Finland took the bronze.
Swimming Phelps breaks 200 free world records for third gold. American swimming marvel Michael Phelps won his third gold medal at the Beijing Olympics with another world record swim in the 200 metres freestyle final.
Hockey Britain beats Pakistan settling hockey score with Pakistan after 56 years It is sad to know that Pakistan has lost its first match against Britain. It is a discouraging start but hope for the best. (and ready for the worst).Britain won by 4-2 this time. Britain, who last beat Pakistan 2-1 at the 1952 Helsinki Games, had lost 8-1 and 8-2 in their two previous Olympic meetings in Sydney and Athens. So it’s a remarkable opening for Britain. Congratz Britain.

A man went to a bar with a turtle that was all tied up in bandages. The bartender showed sympathy asking what had happened to the turtle.

With the gunfire, the man threw the turtle against the wall and won the bet!

Remember the lil girl who was playing the piano with the man, she wasn't the singer, just the actor. The singer was not given the chance to appear before the world as she was not considered pretty enough. Broke my heart! Hate the Chinese for that!
