The book quotes, as source of information, conversations taped by CIA between Benazir and Musharraf and Benazir and Bilawal
The book details the level of control the US weilds on the politics of Pakistan and how farcical the notion is that the US is a champion of democracy
If there is any truth in the recorded conversations then it becomes clear that Musharraf gave the order of Benazir's murder
Musharraf to Benazir" :
“You should understand something; your security is based on the state of our relationship.”
As we can all recall, towards the end their relationship had become extremely strained
US intelligence agencies once also intercepted Ms Bhutto’s conversation with her son, Bilawal. “They’ve been listening to her calls for months, including an earlier call she made to her son.”
In that call, the book said, she shares with Bilawal details about the secret bank accounts that hold the family’s fortunes that investigators have long suspected are ill-gotten.
Again if this is true then she deserved her fate
The problem, however, is not so much the content of the conversations (it was all an open secret) but the fact that phone conversations of the president of Pakistan were recorded and his every move was dictated by the US

This post reflects all that the media is talking about nowadays. Only spreads more discontent and disappointment in the Pakistani people. I wonder if we needed that at this point of time.
Noone would doubt the veracity of the words of the author and with that the insecurity would stem and grow. It is a world too open for any secrets. A lesson for all and sundry. How worthless are our intelligence agencies and how far advanced their technology although with all the satellites they have in place, this was already suspected yet this just goes on to prove their supremacy over the world. And this is just one country that we are talking about. Do you believe they don't wield the same power over the rest of the world?
We live in a glass house I guess. Such rude awakenings to reality are good time to time for a people.

This is only a propaganda against Pakistani Army and Musharaf. The reality is that Zardari and Sharif Brothers cant prove that he has done something wrong or he has orderd to kill Banazi Bhutto. Every Pakistani knows that Zardari wants to be the next President and thats why he has killed Banazir Bhutto and his Brother too and is doing all this Propenganda. These sort of Book, who is this cheap Writer.... No name or fame. We should ask this Writer, why he hasent describe who is zardari and sharif and how they came in Power, how much black money they have earned and how he got Villas and Mahlats in Dubai and England. From which source they got all this?
If they love Pakistan why they are not selling their Mahlats and give their Black Money to poor people of Pakistan. This is called justic and Love for Pakistan and not to steal pak economy. How many curroption Cases they have inside and outside Pakistan? If anyone of them would be the Next Presiden (I HOPE NOT) than, doonoo hatoo sai gangaa loo tee jaa aain gee. Than again criminality at its peak.
I can also pay some of the best worlds book writer of America and British, to write such book against Zardari and Sharif. Who believes on such type of cheap Stories against Musharaf and Army.
Prime Minister has already sold FATA in hand of America, thats why american will pay us 30 billion Dollars. Infect america will give them this money to put it for the betterment of Pakistan, but the reality is that, Nature cant be change. This time target is not MUSHARAF but Pakistani Army. They dont want to invest any cent on Pak Army and allows from one side America and NATO and from the other side India to attack Pakistan. American and indian want to take this Freedom from Pakistanis, and its mean to capture ATOMIC BOMM PLANT. This is the only thing which gives pakistan surity that it is appair on the map of the world as a free and independence state.
I think its the best time to think what our selected Politicians are doing in Pakistan. With no material what do u think will they get something? I say zardari and sharif go to hell and leave Pakistan. We were good and within 5-6 months one of the worst position in Pakistan.

2-His kings party earned billions by privitization of different institutions
3-He banged constitution twice
4-his kings party made billion by flour crises and stock market case
5-He started army action in baloschistan without any discussion in parliament
6-He sold pakistani citizen to amarica as he admitted it in his book
I am not in favor of zardari and nawaz but i hate musharaf more than them
I am just wondering how they are going to make the charge sheet stick to Musharraf! Might backfire. Two many controversial views among lawyers about whether he is to be tried as President after the Feb Elections or since 2000. Then again it would be real hard to prove. And who is the President to be tried before? I mean he is not going to resign by the mere threat of impeachment. This is his one opportunity to come clean.
It is one of the very interesting turns of Pakistan History. At least we have begun understanding the importance of accountability albeit judges who are partial and inclined to adjudicate either one way or the other in the light of their loyalties and biases. Would love to see another page turn! :)
