Czech shooter Katerina Emmons won the first gold medal of the Beijing
Olympics when she took the women's 10m Air Rifle competition at the
Beijing Shooting Range Hall here on Saturday. Lioubov Galkina of Russia
won the silver and Snjezana Pejcic of Croatia claimed the bronze.

More importantly the Brazlian soccer team won their first match, China's Weight lifting gold medalist Chen was crosseyed the Turkish female weight lifter Sibel Ozkan was kind of cute, Kobe and LeBron are both members of the US Basket Ball team and the fireworks were spectacular
I love seeing ppl win something. The joy on their face is out of the world. All the hard hours and fears put to rest with the success. Divine feeling indeed.
