President of pakistan Mr Richard Boucher is visiting "his country"...in 1.5 day he met all major stalk holders of political power in the country...Though Nawaz league says that they have refused to accept any dictation but their policy U-TURNS are telling other story.
Mr Boucher has approved and endoresed new operation in BARA and PESHAWER...The war which was being fought in side areas of NWFP now is taken to Peshwar...I am not sure this war will not cross Attock Bridge...
In the given picture an old man is taken into custody becasue he was terrorist..The oldman belonsg to Lashkr-e-Islam which is the Forward block of Taliban Tehreek..Lashkr-e-islam was formed when Mehsood refused to accept Writ of the Govt in his areas..Few of his fighters were against attacks on Forces and Govt buildings..Mungle Bagh is head of this group..He never attacked on forces according to his basic stance...He managed peace in his area where Govt was unabel.This man and his group could have been used against Mehsood who attacks forces and buildings BUT our BRAVE and WISE PPP and ARMY didnt spare him and they destroyed their offices and arrested his companions..Mungle Bagh in his last press conference again restricted his fellows..He instructed them to Not defend themselves against army operation because it can lead to loss of lives from both side...BUT our army and Govt will not spare him becasue their GOD father has advised them to keep on killings.
I hope this old man will be a new addition in MISSING PEOPLE list and he will be WORLD's OLDEST MILLITANT...Wolrd record comes to pakistan...

It's really a sorrowful picture of Pakistan's situation. The old man does not seem to be a terrorist...He looks like an innocent person. I can't understand wht is going on here.

I dont think he was being arrested, his hands are not tied behind his back nor does he have the blinds on. I think he was the 'informant'
The operation was provoked by these crazy Mullahs. They have got what they have asked for. Burning girl schools, kidnapping people, hijacking cities, they should all be thrown in jails where they truly belong.
If you guys really want to sympathies with someone please do it with poor victims of suicide bombings.

Mianjee. you are being very simplistic about Mangal Bagh. They are thugs and looters. Its a trible war out there between groups who want hegemony and control and they are using religion for cover. Peshawar's surrounds were becoming a mess.
I am not saying that Govt is an angel that woke up to citizens demands and started action. It has her own interest but Lashkar e Islami and the 2 other groups are anything but 'shareef'
The Pathan's have never considered themselves Pakistani's; they have only gone along with this charade because we pay them for the rights to include their land in the map of Pakistan. That area has never been subject to federal law. This may be a blessing in disguise to forcefully include that area in the federation and make if a fully integrated part of Pakistan. This however does not mean that we start exploiting that region just like we have done with Balochistan.

So by your count Taliban should be the most peaceful of all?! Mangal Bagh is a killer. He has the 'gun'! anyone in tribal area who commands the most fear, is respected! They are killing one another and professing to be better than their rivals in faith! People will naturally support (or show support) to the one who 'shuts up' the the other group.
Do make peace deals bro. Who is stopping you to use head instead of gun. But do not be ridiculous as the Government was in case of Sufi Muhammad and his Tanzem e Nifaze Shariate Muhammadi TNSM. Since 1995 he is being given free hand and look at the results

The News: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday revealed that Mangal Bagh, who was involved in the terrorist activities in the Khyber Agency, had assured the contesting candidates in the Feb 18 elections of success if they took oath of facilitating suicide bombing inside parliament.
