"I dropped out of school, we got the company going and people thought we were kind of strange guys". These are the words of the man who has actually achieved where he could proudly say, Been There, Done That.
Microsoft finally said googbye to its co-founder Bill Gates who shared his experiences with the company he founded 33 years ago during an informal chat session with his friend, business partner and successor, Steve Ballmer on Friday at the company headquarters.
"My life's work really is about software and working with incredible people" Gates said with tears in his eyes as he took a look at the years gone by. What was started by a school dropout 33 years ago, now employs a staff of 91,192 worldwide with an annual turnover of US$60 billion.
Gates is now going to devote his full time attention to the philanthropy project.
Now that's success.

Jeeway bunra umraan sariyaan! :)
Datz admirable! :)
He done what he had said 8 yaars ago..Not like zardari who takes back his words, promises...
Bill is now avilable at his NGO which has assets of 26 billion dollars( our national budget is normally 12 billion dollar) ...He has announced that after his death his kids will eb getting just 1 million dollar each...Leaving the most influencing position and uncountable wealth he will be serving humanity...
It reminds me Owner of Us apparel who had given all his wealth to trust and his children getting just 3 lac rupees per month for whole family...
What's really admirable is that the company does not 'logically' get inherited by his heirs as is the norm in our part of the world. In fact, he has gone so far as to say that his kids need to create their own fortune.
By the way Mianjee, the charity is worth over $60 billion since Warren Buffet also contributed $37 billion to it
And this exit also anwers the question "Just how much money is enough" Apparently anything in the $50 billion range
