PM has announced all death penalties conversion into life time sentence on the occasion of B.B's birthday....Though no relation can be found between this executive order and B.B's birthday..but there is anotehr aspect which is under discussion nowadays...
According to Islam...The death penalty of the murderer cant be forgiven unless the relatives of the victim agree on that...Then the compensation can be given and in the result the punishment can be changed or obsoleted
Accordint o our law this provision is there...
THEN WHO ALLOWED PM TO GO AGAINST LAW ??? ISN'T IT DICTATORSHIP???

In one sense it's commendable, but in another way, your point of view is 100% right that a murderer cannot be pardoned unless he/she is forgiven by the consent of the murdered person's family thru agreement or by paying the Qasaas. Our higher authorities shud consider this matter in the light of law.

I still don't know if we should be talking about laws any more in Pakistan. Aren't we pretty much lawless already?
So should we start living in that jungle??? or we should be habitual for this kind of extra constitutional steps..?
Are we not already living in the jungle? The law has been breached repeatedly by the so-called guardians of this country and upheld by the entire parliament which sits there like a goof, supposedly representing us but not talking about any of these things. IN fact they are all supporting each other for their interests.
How can you in all seriousness believe that this is a free country? I can't believe this!

eye for an eye , nose for a nose , hand for a hand i agree with mian jee that without the consent of relatives of the victims the criminal can not be forgiven even if its BB 's birthday or any one 's birthday that was wrong annoucement by the prime minister. They can cut cakes distribute charities and feed the poor and needy and spending so much money on some one 's birthday is just not acceptable even if its from BB's own pocket money. My point no .2 is that why why why should the criminals be benefited by the BB's birthdays and is PM gonna release more criminals on birthday of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on 12 th Rabi ul Awal or is BB more important for them then Prophet Muhammad (SAW) ITS SIMPLY NOT A WAY TO CELEBRATE THE BIRTHDAY OF A DEAD PERSON SO WHY CELEBRATE BIRTHDAY OF DEAD PPP CHAIR PERSON LIKE THAT IF THEY WANT TO CELEBRATE THEY SHOULD GIVE CHARITY WHICH MAY BENEFIT BENAZIR BHUTTO IN NEXT WORLD SHE HAS BEEN TRANSFERED.

This is nothing more than 'Law Lessness'! No one has right to do this. No matter who's birthday anniversary it is, this can't take place.
What about those who have lost their loved ones?
