It seems no one know (like me) about this logic. Why Zoo is called Chiria Ghar
The moghul emperors were fond of birds and often had aviaries built in their cities. As people were used to viewing birds in captivity, hence the name stuck when zoo's were built
Chiria Ghar means Sparrow house
But what is the meaning of the word zoo the actual meaning.
Look at other languages apart from urdu and english what do they call a place where animals are kept and fed for the purpose of displaying.
