Gone with the wind

Gone with the wind

i am so sad over the tragic death of female PAF pilot Samman in a plane crash...its so upsetting to see a brilliant promising career cut short like this....how happy she must have been on her entry to Risalpur academy, how proud her parents must have been at their liitle girl's big achievement, how envious her classfellows must have been at her success....all the dreams, all the hopes crashed near mardan.....

is it yet another training aircraft crash involving "technical fault" ???? why such economizing of funds when it comes to these training aircrafts at a great peril to the lives of our million dollar pilots????

imagine the anguish of her mother...all her preparations for her daughter's wedding..now that sammu was established in her career... ended in such a tragic way...

I'm also feeling sad....very sad, Pinky. How success ends up in a tragic event.

RizSh

When did this happen?

yesterday....the newspaper spared just 5 small lines for this daring girl....every one is saving...some r saving money on cheap planes, some r saving lines, some r saving praises, some r saving information.....

let's pray for her to sooth our spirits ....May Allah bless her with every blessing imaginable in the life hereafter....May Allah bless her parents n siblings with courage to brave out this xtremely difficult time....May Allah grant some sense to PAF officials to stop frugality on the wrong fronts....

if these planes are the ones we r making "indigenously". i think we should reconsider the move n start importing some....apparently these miserable wrecks cant stay airborne for a while....the one that crashed near GIKI this january was also T-37.....

yes i agree this was a tragic moment to have happend in the way it did, leaving a hell of gloom and worrisome senario.. which i am feeling equally.

someday everybody has to perish no matter how successful have u been in your life ...

it does apply to everbody in eqaul manner...i thnk this person wd be happy and respected in the world hereafter to have gained a precedented success.

My condolences to the family. May Allah give them the strength to bear this grief!

Cant there be a movement against those defence minister who procured technically shit planes? It reminds me RUNG DAY BASANTI. The responsible should be treated like that

Just to correct u Pinky, Samman Riaz was a guy and not female.

i confirmed it frm The News...Initially the newspapers n even channels assumed that pilot was male but later on in some newspaper there was this revised news that female pilot has embraced martyrdom...

(irrespective of the pilot's sex, my point remains the same that money shouldn't b saved on the training aircraft, PAF needs to revise some of its policies)

Pinky! have you been fabricating news?!

oh no, of all the ppl u got wind of the news...

i seriously didn't fabricated it....most of the newspaper reported a male pilot even quoted the PAF sources but The News explicitly stated a female pilot...n hence my blog...

n i dint noticed u earlier on this blog? were u hiding under the furniture??? now when a suspicion has been raised, here u come banging down the door without even knocking first...

Everything had already been said and then suddenly your questionable journalism came to light

dear Zeeshan( admin )

there is some doubt concerning the authenticity of the news (abt the sex of the pilot to b exact...the plane did crashed, no question abt that)..verify the news frm ur own resources if u have time...(n dont go for numbers...coz newspapers n agencies in their haste to broadcast the news first often make small mistakes...)...if senor is right, do delete the buzz...i don't want to cause any more anguish to the family of departed by giving him a new gender postmortem....n no need to think of any punishment for me...i have grounded myself for 2 days...won't post anything....

yours pain in the neck

pinky khan

Hey Pinky, lemme make it easier for u. Samman was a friend of my brother. People normally mistake him for saman which of course is a girl's name. It is as authentic as it could be.

They should have parachutes and emergency exits for the pilots with rockets which are made to take the pilot away from the place of crash. EJECT BUTTON.
Why don't they use such technology to save the lives of the pilots ,money doesn't matter they can make new planes.

Taimur, they do have an eject seat in T37 trainers. It was Samman's first solo flight. He did try to eject but at a low altitude of 1000 ft which by no mean is sufficient for ejecting. Sometimes inexperienced pilots go into a spin through which they lose their sense of direction and altitude.

Nevertheless they are conducting investigation if there was a technical fault or not. It was a great loss indeed.

Zeeshan is not the admin. Gosh now you are starting rumors

oh my gosh....whtever it has the same level of gloom on the everyboyd affliliated....

i hope Panther wont make such ambiguities b4 sth in right way ...alright .. i aplogize for being if harsh.

O Hello,

Pinki had not put this blong to identify the gender of pilot..It was the sad incident..A million worth pilot lost. The high authorities of aircraft procurement should be accountable for it. When defence procurement will be commission based then these kind of incidents will be taking place..

This is not the 1st pilto nor the 1st air craft. There should be an inquiry
