The prototype of the second verion for the $100 laptop (ref: One Laptop Per Child) has been revealed and I must say the design is superb and highly functional.

For the price tag of $100, the first version XO (1.0) was a reasonably good design with 2 antennas and a water resistant rubber keyboard, but the new version XOXO (2.0) is definitely a winner.

The new design works in 4 highly functional modes.

1. A tablet, with end-to-end screens, both top and bottom.
2. A book, that you can hold for reading and virtually flip the pages.
3. A board, for a game of 2 players sitting across.
4. A laptop, with a keyboard like ordinary laptops

This is true functionality in your lap !
