Uneducated Parliament

The condition of graduation for contesting the general elections has been removed. Greek Philosopher Aristotle once said “The educated differ from the uneducated as much as the living from the dead”.
Dead nations deserve to be ruled by the dead (uneducated) souls. We are for sure destined to be doomed.

TAIMUR .
Some uneducated people have leadership abilities and the biggest leader of the world and the best human being to have lived on the face of the earth Prophet Muhammad (SAW)was also illetrate. But these politicans who are not graduates are literate and they can read and write i think but the importance of education can never be neglected as our religion puts a compulsion on every man and woman to seek knowledge.
" seeking knowledge is the duty of every muslim man and woman"
Dr.Irfan zafer we can not ignore the fact that some people with out education can be very good at public handling and are popular among people and they serve people and get there votes .
I THINK THE UNEDUCATED MNA'S AND MPA'S MUST ATTEND SPECIAL CLASSES (TALEEM E BALIGAH ) education for adults and they should learn at least about the constitution of Pakistan.
I totally agree with you boss.

It is amazing fact that the uneducated politicians and leaders were less harmful for country as till the time of mr Ayub Khan pakistan's international loan was zero..Ayub khan started begging with his litrate foreign minister Mr bhutto. More educated poilticians came in and corruption got more flurished..
Nawaz, Bebi, faysal salih hayat, ameen fahim, shah mehmood, yusaf raza gilani, ishaq dar, saif ur rehman, farooqi all of them are well educated and foreign qualifide and all of them looted the nation generously and cruelly.
why did u included shah mehmood in this list?
Aristotle said, " Hope is a walking dream."
Its 'Election' - not 'Selection'
i do not think it fair to have totally ueneducated politicians...we have to have politicians who are well-versed in their respective fields either via much academic study or relevant experience or better, a combination of both...i.e. to say, they should definitely meet some sort of criteria and therefore, anyone cannot just become a politician at their whim or fancy...
Taimur - the prophet was illiterate - meaning he could not read or write - not uneducated...the archangel, Jibril taught him many things...he learn the Holy Quran, etc, therefore, how was he uneducated? he knew more than we could ever know...and in addition, he lived the change...he influenced change...

PostMan - true but the election of individuals without the know-how of government and without knowledge of the needs of the people (which is an education in itself) could lead to dire consequences...
Ya hawa...it is a joke that we have ligislators who dont have know-how of constitution and law...many of them coem to sleep in parliment.....Some of illitrate politicians have very good grip on contitution like molana diesal, mehmood achakzai, zulfiqar khosa...
zulfiqar khosa is an Aitchisonian....plz don't compare him with the rest of the two.....his parents were assasinated when he was a toddler...after he completed his A-levels he had to take care of his property (coz the govt stopped being the custodian) and her sister....thats y he discontinued studies.....n A-level students are sort of equivalent of the Bachelor degree holders in our part of the world....
sad...
Although it is contradictory to what I wrote....But Quran says that your Khalifa should be a peron from among you & "OUR WOH JO TUM MAIN SAY SAB SAY BAHTAR HO".
So a person better than us can be un-educated.

TAIMUR .
@Dr.Irfan Zafer ,
JO SUB SAY BAHTAR HOO.(the one who is best among you )
So the one better will be better in TAQWA not in anything else as the one closer to ALLAH is one better in TAQWA. But on board of intermediate and secondary education we read this urdu saying.
"SHAKSIYAT BAL LAHAZ ILM ,FAQEEEYAT BA LAHAZ TAQWA"
Listen.. you are confusing two different entities... "The solution
Identifers" and "Solution providers". A person elected by people may be
illiterate or uneducated but if he can identify the problems of his
community.. thats the best!
A legislator only identifies the problems.. actual lawmaking is done by the Executive branch. Your observation can be only true in case you have a Cabinet. There you might 'want' to have ministers that have actual knowledge of that field - that would be even better. In case you are not adept at the assigned task... there is an army of advisers to help you - you have to be a better manager of affairs in that scenario.
So for me.. a person with 'common sense' should be election criteria rather than imposing an education-degree stipulation.
damn right Irfan!
PostMan - that is v.true also...I was working on the assumption that one who is educated or knowledgeable should have sufficient 'common sense' altho I have seen that this is not always the case...
...
Lack of education is akin to a chronic disease
"OUR WOH JO TUM MAIN SAY SAB SAY BAHTAR HO So a person better than us can be un-educated." I hope you meant to say can'T
Only education (whether its study of the Quran or nature) makes one person better than another
