Yesterday Business Plus host Jasmeen Manzoor - The Pulse was invited for a one on one interview with Nawaz Sharif, at his home in Raiwind, Lahore. For starters the interview appeared to be going fine until Jasmeen touched on a few sensitive issues with Nawaz Sharif, more specifically his controversial 10 year deal with Musharraf and his relationship with the Saudi government, it is then he is said to have suddenly gotten angry to the extent that the plunged at the camera to confiscate the video, threatening Jasmeen and the Business Plus TV crew to not talk about it
This scribe got wind of this breaking news late this Friday afternoon around 3 pm when an email was circulated on the People’s Resistance network asking us to watch the program which might be aired at 3 pm on ARY ONE WORLD, but much to our dismay nothing came on and quite naturally we assumed that either ARY may have buckled under the pressure or PCO-Bound-PEMRA was hounding over them. Only to see a news ticker at 6:30pm on Business Plus stating they protested against Nawaz Sharif’s ‘confiscation’ of the tape. Hence the confiscation of the tape may explain why it never made it on ARY or YouTube for that matter.
Later at 7 pm ARY & Business Plus then televised a press conference in which Jasmeen Manzoor and Rana Mubashir spoke about Nawaz Sharif’s behavior and how he had lost his temper when asked routine questions about the deals, etc. questions that have often been asked to other politicians in the past.
The lesson from this is that it would appear that it doesn’t make any difference who comes to power, they all have skeletons in their closets which they hope that the people of Pakistan suddenly forgive and forget and suddenly elect them as they hope to come in with a brand new sparkling ‘hair transplanted’ images.

Nawaz loses cool with Business Plus team
ISLAMABAD: The Business Plus management on Friday alleged that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif’s media manager Pervaiz Rasheed seized tapes and intimidated their staff after Nawaz lost his temper in an interview. “We were held hostage after the interview when Pervaiz Rasheed, realised that Nawaz had used unbecoming language against President Pervez Musharraf, the Chaudhry brothers and Mushahid Hussain while answering one of my questions,” said Rana Mubashir, the Business Plus Director News, at a press conference here. Mubashir said that all through the interview at Nawaz’s Raiwind house, Nawaz used harsh language and lost his temper over routine questions. “Pervaiz Rasheed put his hand on my shoulder and said, ‘Ok pack up; this interview can’t be aired because you people have put tough questions and Nawaz has spoken harshly in answering your questions,” Mubashir quoted Rasheed as saying. Mubashir said the first question that annoyed Nawaz pertained to a deal he did when signing the exile document for 10 years. “Nawaz got angry when I asked him why he first denied the existence of any exile deal with the government before his homecoming and later admitted that it was for only five years?” Mubashir said the second question was about the allegation of pursuing confrontation politics, which he answered in bad taste. The third question pertained to his strategic road map for steering the country out of the turbulent situation. The PML-N leader’s reply was that President Musharraf’s resignation was the only solution to set the house in order. When Mubashir pressed him to delineate his road map, Nawaz didn’t come up with any answer to the point. “When I asked why the Chaudhry brothers and Mushahid Hussain had left him after 11 years, Nawaz blew his top and asked his media manager to seize the tapes and not let us go until we surrendered the tapes,” Mubashir told the reporters. Mubashir said they were left with no option but to surrender the tapes and ask whether they might conduct a fresh interview with mild questions as required. But Nawaz did not accept his request to hand him back the tapes. “My team and I were like hostages and I condemn it,” Mubashir said, adding that they had reported the incident to Raiwind police for registration of a case but they didn’t know whether their request would be accepted. Business Plus Bureau Chief Saba Jamal, Rana Mubashir and Jasmeen Manzoor have appealed to the government to take notice of the incident and ensure the press freedom. The channel management also reminded the media that Nawaz had also tried to repress the media during his tenure as prime minister. They also thanked local journalists and Rawalpindi-Islamabad Rawalpindi Press Club President Mushtaq Minhas for condemning the incident. atif khan

Even if Nawaz Sharif did that all that does that mean that the military has the right to take over like october 1999 and rule the country for more then 8 years without any good reason and remove two third majority elected government.
LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE AND CHOOSE PEOPLE HAVE RIGHT TO VOTE AND THEY CAN ALWAYS VOTE AGAINST NAWAZ SHARIF AND CHOOSE THE PEOPLE THEY LIKE BUT MILITARY HAS NO RIGHT TO RULE THE COUNTRY N SUSPEND THE CONSTITUTION OF PAKISTAN .

Let the elected government run the country and keep military away from politics all these negitive criticism for the sake of criticism gives green signal to army generals to take over enjoy power and money and ruin the country like they have in the past.
