LUMS is holding a Gravity Challenge on its campus today. The event is sponsored by Red Bull Pakistan and is going to be an exciting one.

The test is to defy the force of gravity by throwing an egg from a certain height and save it from breaking, so the name Gravity Challenge.

Students in a team of 3 each are required to come up with innovative ideas that can help an egg reach the surface of the earth without breaking. Reportedly there are more than 100 teams that got themselves registered for the competition, so we are expecting more than 300 brains to challange the universal law.

The teams comprise of approximately 40 institues that were already at LUMS to take part in the 5-day Olympiads Competition that kicked off at LUMS campus on last Tuesday, the 4th of March, 2008.
