First time in life…

I have never seen this before!

The cutting is from a well known Pakistani Urdu Newspaper (Nawa-e-Waqt). It was published (yesterday) Thursday, March 06, 2008.

It seems that ‘Consumer Courts’ are taking actions against manufacturers of different products. I have never seen ‘Al Jannat Cola’ here in Lahore. But this news proves that there is someone producing the product under this name.

On the other hand (Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited) is well known all over the country. As far as (Mehran) so called ‘The Smallest Wonder’ is concerned, their most successful brand. 'Cash Cow' would be the right term if I am not wrong...

I have been told by many friends/colleagues and Mehran users that there is no ‘QA’ department for particularly this brand. The car is known for it’s ‘re-sale’ property, they say that you can sale it out anytime, anywhere & on good price as well.

Does it make sense to buy the car that is being produced massively without quality & safety checks?
