Bogus bomb alerts at schools in Lahore
submitted 9 months 22 days 15 hours ago by: amersarfraz : 1 commentRecently there have been bogus alarms of bombs placed at different schools in Lahore. Three days back there was an alert at LGS (Lahore Grammar School) and the very next day, LCAS (Lahore College of Arts and Sciences) had bomb alert.
Both the schools were evacuated and the parents of the children were called to pick them up. There are rumours of possible bomb blasts at few other schools of Lahore as well.
Schools are such sensitive place for any of this activity and can be really devastating for the families of the young children leaving homes every morning to seek knowledge. We don't have a promising rate of literacy in Pakistan and these incidents (may even be bogus calls) can do further damage. Our mosques have already started experiencing a reduced turn-over of people, who used to be a regular and now the schools I presume would also start to have dropping attendance. By the way, LCAS I heard has closed its doors till the 20th of February. No one seems to be bothered with what loss we are incurring.
Who is answerable for all this damage and what will be the end of all of this. Does it mean that we should all migrate from this country and leave this place for all these suicide bombers that dare to call themselves Jihadis ??
Things are going really bad for a common man and the saddest part is that there seems to be no hope for improvement whatsoever.

The other day there was a bomb scare at the Beaconhouse Defence Campus as well. Another hoax! I don't understand! What do people get out of all this?
