‘Don’t trample the national flag’
submitted 11 months 1 day 6 hours ago by: mahrukhahsan : 4 commentsTahira Abdullah's news story in Dawn today got me thinking. What will become of this nation? Everyday i read about riots in different parts of the country and people dying right, left and center. But nobody's talking about the real issues.
Judiciary, lawyers, politicians, elections etc. are only the tip of the iceberg, trust me. What we're in is far worse than any time i can think of in the history of pakistan. And what's surprising is that people aren't really bothered if there's no gas, electricity, sugar etc in their homes. Strange, isn't it?
If people can protest for the restoration of judiciary and free and fair elections, why can't there be an uprising! Why don't people come out of their homes and protest about the socio-economic conditions of pakistan? Why, O Why, O Why....

Because Pakistanis are a bunch of fags
The roots of all problem is the system. Whiel justice iftikhar was active, he took sou moto actions over cost of general commodities etc. if u see all problems are being orginated from corrupt system e.g
1-flour shortage occured becasue shoukat aziz govt exported wheat just to favour their beloved ones.
2-electricity short fall is becasue in last 8 years not a singal water reserve was developed.
to take proper measure against these govt ignorance we need an active and free juidiciary... so they are heading in the right way.
If it is the right way it is an absolutely ambiguous one, i'm afraid. No?
i DONT THNIK THAT I SHOULD REPEAT CHURCHAL'S SAYING IN WORLD WAR 2ND ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF FREE JUIDICIARY....
REVOLUTIONS ALWAYS COME DUE TO AMBIGIOUS SITUATIONS. SAME AMBIGUITY WAS IN IRANIAN REVOLUTION WHILE LEADERSHIP WAS IN FRACE AND PEOPLE WERE DEPRIVED OF BASIC RIGHTS.
