submitted 11 months 15 days 10 hours ago by: Taimur77 : 2 commentsWe have 2008 elections comming up. We have tested almost all types of leader from military rulers to elected governments in Pakistan. what is our future vision of Pakistan. what do we all need .what do we want . We must be clear about our goals lets say in atleast next 5 years where do we want to see Pakistan. How can we reduce corruption which is all around the country in all the offices. If we consider religion parties as an option can we all be sure that they won't be corrupt and guide Pakistan to the right path. The majority of political parties have already been tested. How can we select the honest and hardworking leadership which is concerned about the development of the country and not about there ministeries and power.
There are two major political parties in Pakistan .
- PAKISTAN MUSLIM LEAQUE (NAWAZ GROUP)
- PAKISTAN PEOPLE'S PARTY.
FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS:
The big question rather the biggest question about 2008 elections is that will they
be free and fair and transparent. Most political parties claim that theelections under
President .Pervez Musharraf and his ruling party PML(Q) can not be free n fair.
YOUR VIEWS AND COMMENTS ON THE UPCOMMING ELECTIONS AND
FUTURE OF PAKISTAN.

well this may alarm you but i'd really like to see more ice skating rings in pakistan. I mean we need more investment that is focused towards the people.
BTW i had no idea karachi had ice skating ring in first place.

You are absolutely right that there are infact two major parties in Pakistan, of-course if you keep the ARMY aside!
But you know what is the most unfortunate thing with the Pakistani political system. That they just talk the talk. If you listen to their promises, it sure feels that if any one of there party gets elected, we would not have any problem left. But they have both been tried and tested and we all know where we stand. So i guess there is no point trying to prove something so evident.
