Muk gaya tera show, Go Musharraf Go

I dont know who does this poetry but it always fascinates me.
Yesterday, the whole Mall Road was covered with the banners saying Go Musharraf Go. There were very few banners with referece to Independence day. Most of them were addressing Mush and some were paying regards to Iranian Govt for its bold and daring steps.
Anyhow, we observed our National Day yesterday :)

It seems as Pakistan has only one problem namely Musharraf.
I can only think of one reason for Musharraf to quit & i.e. he is serving Nawaz & Zardari as a distraction from the real issue.
Otherwise these two buggers are total disappointment so far.

I totally enjoyed Zardari saying that Musharraf looted the money! The guy has the guts!
He must be ashamed of saying like that. Is he different from Musharraf?

Pakistan has only one problem, the Pakistani army and until and unless the army is put in its place and made subservient to the nation instead of the other way round there is going to be no moving forward.
The simple concept that a lot of people like Babar are failing to grasp is that removing, humiliating and punishing Musharraf is going to set a very important precedent; that of accountability of rulers. This is way more important than the short term goal of roti, kapra, makan because in the long term the very existence of Pakistan is at risk.
Once the army is out of the picture, things will probably get a little worse but eventually all the rotten eggs will be sieved out and Pakistan too will move towards a more stable two party system.

btw Khalifa! what have the democratic governments done in the past with Pakistan? We have experienced them too

So should we quite "impeachment" of a dictator??? Democracy is the know good option for a state(though it is not the best)...we need political stability and patience to let country develope its procedures..India had corruption and still it prevails but they consistently remaind at democaracy and now they are getting its fruits...FDIs are in larger number there becasue no investor feels that army will take over and ruine our capital by siezing accounts...
Babar there are 110 reasons to impeach a dictator....i seems there is no HUB-E-ALI in your verdict but there is BUGHZ-E-MUAWIYA

Glad that you talked about FDI. Interestingly FDI was far higher in a 2006 than what we have today. How would you explain that?

I bristle when people ask "what have democratic governments done". These people have actually swallowed the army's propaganda hook, line and sinker. My question to them is WHEN have we had democratic governments? All we have had is a few individuals who have worked within very strict boundaries set by the army with little more that 30% of budget under their control.

I dont understand why do ppl believe that we would ever have democratic govt. in its pure form. Yes 30% for army and 70% goes to these so-called democratic leaders' personal accounts

4-Sikander mirza dissmissed 2 govts
5- Gen Ayub khan was a army dictator
6-yahya khan was an army dictator
7-Bhutto was a civilion and he did many good things but he got a short tenure
8-Zia was an army dictator
9-Is'haq khan dismissed 2 govt..he was ex-bearucrate
10-Farooq Laghari dismissed one govt , he was also a bearucrate
11-Musharaf occupied country , he was a army dictator
In whole history only bhutto was an elected Pm who served for more than 4 years..., nawaz, BB never served 4 years in a term....Chohdry Mohammed Ali was only Pm of pakistan who resigned against Ayub's dictatorship

Sophi: World have seen all political systems and proved that democracy is the better...Khalifat cant be taken in account becasue it doesnt seem possible to get it back...Can you name a country which progressed in a dictatorship??? The countries which progressed wither they were controlled economy country or democratic(capitalist) countries....Dictatorship never served....chacha hitler though he sovergnized his nation but he ruined them...Same is with messolini....So why we dont try a system completely becasue saying it a failure???
