This can just be an imagination........ not the reality.............

Well you never know. The way things are progressing around the country, especially in Islamabad (the recent incidence of Lal Masjid), this seems not that far.
I am all for Islamization, but not the way it was done in case of Lal Majid incidence where they kidnapped the family on the plea that they were running a brothel there. These elements of the society can not be eliminated and that is what he have to understand. These brothels were very much present in the times of our beloved Muhammad (PBUH) and they will probably remain till the end of time.
Yes, the only concern I guess should be that these places should be confined to a certain area and not be allowed to mix with noble colonies of respectable people.

@Amer

Boss I agree with whatever you have written. However I have a very thought provoking question for all on what you wrote at the end i.e. "not be allowed to mix with noble colonies of respectable people". Why do you believe that the one's living in brothals are "not respectable people". I have comprehensively researched in this area but will hold back my views till we get the views of various members of this group.

@ Dr. Sb. :)
Well...I would say a YES and a NO to it.
YES they can be noble if they are forced to do it and its not something that is coming out with their own consent, as I know and can understand many girls are actually forced into this trade and recently, even from some very respectable families for various reasons (the details of which I don't want to get into).
And NO, they can not be noble if they are taking it up as a trade to earn money and are running to fill the gap in the market where men are looking for paid sex out of their homes.
Open for discussion from the rest of the Buzzerz.

I second what Ordinary Citizen's thoughts on this point. Let's see what others have to say.

Mahreen you never know. I hope that this doesn't happen in Pakistan. Looking at what's going on at the Jamia Hafsa these days, I have my fears. I just sincerely hope that our country should have religious scholars who can match the calibre of Ahmad Deedat, Dr. Zakir Naik etc. & guide our people towards true Islam and not the Facade which is being witnessed these days.

I wish someone come and guide us towards true Islam............... we are going so far from our religion............

@Ms Mahreen

No one will come. The starting point here is "YOU". Start reading the translation of Quran & you will be able to find answers to many questions & will understand the mutilation of the Religion done by Mullah and the Political leaders to serve their personal interests.

U r rite Irfan. I wish i can understand what our religion want from us?? And insha Allah i will try to understand Quran.....

@mehreen and Irfan
Our religion KNOWS WHAT IT WANTS from us but the plight of the situation is we arent too sure what WE WANT FROM our religion..rather than picking and chosing from what might appeal to us socially,culturally,morally, we need to implement it into our lives as a whole...(this is with reference to the recent nelofar Bakhtiar debate)....

plz Refer to Al Quran...Surah Al Imran (3rd surah) ayat 7th:

'He it is who has sent down to thee the Book: in it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the book: others are allegorical, that is those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except God and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the book; the whole of it is from our Lord;"

May we all follow and IMPLEMENT...ameen
cheerz!!

"These brothels were very much present in the times of our beloved Muhammad (PBUH) and they will probably remain till the end of time."......................................................
Any Proof?................... if no then i don't think so that anyone should relate anything with the era of prophet muhammad(S.A.W) without any true and solid proof and if yes then plz mention it here.

These NINJA's as we used to call them are now being called Mullies as opposites of MULLAH's. Ninja was a sweet name given to them and was not really a bad one and out of love for them as our sisters who chose to wear BURQAs -- BUt now the way they have started behaving, MULLIEs is a discriminating name. Just an observation.

Anyways these MULLIEs and there MULLAHs have been successful in making the ACTUAL issue an obsolete. I think everybody should make sure that the actual issue stays alive and not put under covers because they are trying to do just that.

Just a reminder - the actual issue was ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTION & 'QABZA' of multiples of CANALS of land right in the heart of the capital Islamabad, and worth millions and millions of rupees. If left unchecked, the rest of the Illegal Mosques & illegal Madrasas already existing (around 80 in numbers) in islamabad will use similar tactics if any action is taken against them.

When we were studying Architecture back in 1991 we had lectures about Urban/ Rural Planning in the context of Islamic teachings. What i remember of those lectures as well as what ever i have studied and remember about islamic history, Our last prophet Mumammad P.B.U.H bought the land first on which Majid Nabawi was built later.

QABZA group in Islamabad is Mostly MOULVIs belonging to Mansehra/ Abbottabad region. They usually start with a small MUSALLAH (prayer area) in some green belt area. Goes unchecked for some time and then suddenly they start collecting donations and start building a mosque, next step is the HUJRA (supposed to ba a single room) but in these cases usually a multi bedroom bungalow. Then the families move in usually 2. Most of these moulvis have 2 wives. And then the construction of Madrassa starts.

The always bribe the CDA inspectors to keep the illegal construction under covers.

THE POINT IS THERE IS NOTHING HOLY ABOUT THESE MOSQUES AND MADRASSAS. THEY BRIBE, THEY establish themselves illegally, on illegally occupied land, and build illegally. ITS ALL ABOUT HAVING A HOUSE IN ISLAMABAD. ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.

THIS IS THE ISSUE TO BE ADDRESSED.

Great. You have hit the core issue.
