Me, Myself & I---------facing A Boss

You wanna know about the history of my Blog title. Why did I choose this title? This title has some touching history. Every thing has some history. The history of this blog is as: Today is a very lazy day. I must call it a colorless day. Why? Because I have just opened my email account, did not read my emails fully and the net collapsed…..ah……IT department has informed that PTCL has some problems. So the net wont’ be available for two to three hours. So boring naa…….I decided to write a blog which I would paste when net ll be available. A blog……..but what should I write in a blog. I started thinking by listening a song, ‘ME, Myself & I’ by Akon. Its’ beautiful song. Suddenly my Boss came and ordered that I would look after the issues in his absence as he was going to some external meeting. I said ‘OK’. (Thank God I was not listening Hero by Enrique…**relief**). I have just started feeling to be an acting head but shockingly, he returned after 30 minutes……ah……my castles broke again. He did it second time……he did not tell me yet why he returned soon. He should respect my feelings but he never does so. In anger, I decided to write some thing about my boss while listening ‘Me, Myself & I’. You know naa catharsis is highly recommended for good mental health.
This is a short history behind this blog.
I have been working from three years in this org. In this period, I have worked with more than 4 bosses. I did not change the job, but I am sure that my presence here is not the reason of this frequent boss changings. I am a very good employee and I like to live in the state of euphoria. It helps me working more efficiently. My trainer has advised me to do so. No one should have any objection on this not even my boss if he wants me to do some thing. Where to start……….hm…….
My boss is junior than me. He has just joined this organization. So I am supposed to be senior. He couldn’t understand this. He is UK Qualified. He is used to tell this more than 20 times in one meeting. This figure may differ according to the complexity and the occurrence of the meeting. I think that his memory is not so good so he has to remind this to himself (‘I AM UK QUALIFIED). I haven’t any objection on that but no one has the right to object me if I smile or laugh on it as I am a very Hanss Mukh type of person. But I don’t know why he feels uncomfortable and I noticed that he does not mention this (‘I AM UK QUALIFIED) in my presence. So you can guess how mean he is, as he does not want me to smile. He cannot see me happy. Ah……..Any how he is HE IS UK QUALIFIED and it is finale. I did not see his certificates (although I want to check them), but he spent some months in UK, for this I am sure.
4:45 pm
The second line which he is used to say is: ‘This is an international standard and Alhamdullilah I know it’. He is very expert in english speaking (like me :D ). He is generous enough to use the alphabet ‘S’ blindly after each and every word. For example: “I thoughts thats you wants me to explains this” etc etc. He is also used add ‘S’ in urdu words as “ye sabs logs kahan hein”. He calls social as shoshial. He is kind enough to tell us the traditions and culture of UK as HE IS UK QUALIFIED. It sounds very good when he says: “Pakistan’s societies is very difference from UKs. You knows I belongs from multicultural societies.
(To be contd….)

Best Regards,
Sadia Tabasum
for him ;p
I can’t give you any space
Go and stick to your own base
You are the symbol of mental nuisance
Don’t you have another face?
Your boss is right. He should mention his qualification again and again, just to remember that pakistanis have low education standard.
by the way..... i m also qualified from UK.....
so you think it is the best of way to tell about your Best Got Education to others. I heard that education speaks itself. It means only those people need to tell others about their qualification who are sure that their personality would not show it itself.
Who says Pakistan has low education standard? You couldn't say this if you have met some truely qualified people in Pakistan. Although they are small in number but these people are easy to find there.
Wow! I'm new to this and yours is the thrid blog I have read. I have to add that I am from the UK!!!!!!!!!
Having only been in Pakistan for the past 3 years. But it isn't something I rave about, like your boss does.
He is obviusly very proud of this and should maybe rethink his current residential status and jump ship!!!!!!!
Good luck!
Welcome here Sadia!!
Actually sadia its not bad to have foreign qualfication. In fact it is great to have such distinction and its' not bad to feel proud on this. But I personally think that, inspite of informing others about ur degrees, it would be more appreciable if u show your qualification through your attitude and behaviour. People would admire it more. I am not allergic of UK qualified ppl but I get irritated when gestures of such people show: "hey you local qualified girl! u dont know any thing". And I could accept it if the person on other side is really an extraordinary man.
