I got the following picture image and e-mail from a friend on yesterday's developments at LUMS.  

" the protest started strong from the sports complex, however the vice chancellor and lums guards stopped us from going to the main gate, around about 20 policemen stood in front of the gate in case anyone tried to get out. the protesters retreated to the pdc. once the VC had left what remained of the protesters sat down in front of the main gate, staring competition? "

LUMS is playing a very active role in restoration of democracy in Pakistan and I am proud to say that our youth is not dead. We know how to stand for our rights and we can get united for our country. I would like to hear more such news from other institutes in Pakistan.
