Keeping one’s words
PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has told a British TV channel that political agreements are not words of Quran which could not be challenged with the changing political scenarios. Robert Bolt, an English playwright, once said “ When a man takes an oath, he’s holding his own self in his own hands. Like water. And if he opens his fingers then he needn’t hope to find himself again. When I was young, the first lesson my father gave me was to always keep one’s words no matter what the circumstances are as one’s integrity, self respect and the strength of character lies in fulfilling ones promises. Probably he was wrong.

Our future president knows better than a playwright!
Woe to the nation that elects, selects or silently watches a true convict take charge of it.
Robert Bolt was wrong . Promises( and records) are made to be broken in politics .Whats the use of keeping promises and losing things. Khalifah and Iola should learn something from our future President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. I hope he makes same types of promises with india about Kashmir and breaks them haha .
@Khalifah
Walakum Woe from the nation thats how it is.An elected leader of any kind is better then a Military dictator though many believe including myself that he is a corrupt politican and had cases against him. At least the nation has climbed one stair of democracy by getting rid of Military ruler.
We are doomed for sure if he is elected as our President. I have no doubt about it.
