I Hate Schools

Or may be that's an over statement.

I don't hate schools, but I hate the people who own and run the schools. Maybe, that too was a bit generalizes statement with a much broader implication, but I guess with the exception of public schools and 1% (maybe) private schools all others fall under the category.

No, I don't have anything personal against any of these owners and am definitely not jealous of the exorbitant sums of money they are making (which reminds me of another post I would make later), but I would still like to kill all those that are minting money through this noble profession, but are not ready to make any investment back into it to make our lives a little less chaotic.

I am not sure how many of you would agree with me (although I am sure all of you go through the agony) that these private schools on every nook n corner of our roads and small streets give no thought to the mess they create for traffic. Just imagine a single street, in a private housing colony, having 3 private schools. It's a joke, but not in case of private schools in Pakistan.

How would you feel when you are trying to reach from point A to Point B (I don't want to name any schools here) and you come to know that this damn street is declared ONE WAY from 7:30 am till 8:30 am because a pivate school is happened to be there. I felt like getting out of my car, walking straight to the owner and telling him/her to go to hell, I swear. But that's the way life is here in Pakistan. My friends and family tell me How many of these can you go and tell this to and What difference would it make. So here am I taking my frustration out and letting all (whoever reads this crap) know how much I am pissed off at these private schools.

And I am totally funing when I know how much they are charging to students after creating such a terrible mess on the roads (I must write a post on this issue).

I mean, when these blood suckers are minting so much money, why the hell do they not occupy a bigger place where they can control the traffic in a better way by giving proper entry and exit routes from inside the school.
OR take these schools out of the city area and get them somewhere in the outskirts may be.
OR, make it compulsary for all students to come to school via designated School Buses (and ensure all parents follow this rule without the difference of wealth, race n creed).

So who is responsible for all this mess?

The school owner ?
The city administration ?
The parents who put their kids in these schools ?

Whoever is, ...... .... forget it...

Well keeping in view the number of schools and the high fee structures I think we should be able to produce more responsible and educated citizens , but No, this isn't the case.

Deplorable traffic conditions are the number one reason for turning people into psychotics and neurotics. It has become impossible to travel from one location to another without wasting a considerable amount of time. The steps through which conditions can be made better are:1-      Send your kids via school transportation. (The schools should provide this facility and make it mandatory).2-      All of us should follow the traffic rules. There are many reputed institutes that have a proper service lane for picking and dropping students. And they are one way during that time frame, but still there are many “Jahil” drivers who violate this one way rule and cause trouble for themselves and obviously for others too.3-      We should have pool cars for offices.

I think I know which school you may be hinting at. The causes probably stem from improper planning of the city, the location of the school and lack of school buses and no one following the rules. These schools are now commercial businesses not schools anymore. All they care about is those exhorbitant and scandalous fees, horrifiyingly underpaying teachers etc. They don't care what they are teaching their kids - not only in terms of academics but more important things like values and culture.

this is a good article

What you wrote, should be managed by city goverenment.. who approve the school without looking at its long-term effects on its nearby area.

SpeakingUp written his reply nicely, and I agree with him.

But we still love our beautiful country Pakistan, have no doubts about it.
