Hotmail Help! :(

Hey fellow buzzers...

Hope u can help me here...

It seems my account password has been tampered with and so too has my secret question so I can't get into my account at the moment...I have been guessing answers to the new secret question I see but keep getting locked out after a few tries...what can I do? How can I access my account???? I really need to be authenticated as the account has (had?) critical data on it :'(

Oh I am so sorry. This is definitely bad news. I wonder where all those computer whizkids are now!!!

I am so dumb where computers are concerned. Anyways future advice is keep sending ur emails to another email address so that things are safe elsewhere at least.

MSN tech support will look at this issue; in all likelihood, though, they will not be able to help you if you don't know the password and especially if your secret answer does not match their records. Hotmail accounts are created without requiring any personal identification information so it is virtually impossible to determine who a specific account belongs to.

If I were to make a guess, you are pretty much out of luck here unless you run into a sympathetic person at MSN

I filled in the required info on dat link but the page now refuses to submit - i've tried refreshing almost a hundred times but alas, it's not working :'(

Ah, it finally submitted - just got to sit tight for a max of 24hours and hope dat it will be sorted...or lose all my info and open up another account :( oh well, such is life...

Microsoft did actually respond, as follows:
