Have Your Say

Guys, I had posted a story and requested everyone to give a feedback about Wateen and Mobilink’s wimax and it has been hell TWO days but I haven’t seen any response so far.
What I think now? Everyone was literally crying for the bad taste of services that was being provided by Wateen, but now, when they have been asked to get their feedback in a polite manner to sort things out, I see no response at all!

I knew there is something fishy going on here and there, everywhere. But now I can clearly see that these bloggers would have been working on anti-progress campaign against the country. Man, why the hell do we always have to act according to our old definition of Pakistanism as well as anti-patriotism?

Just barking out loud about everything is easy, cutting others' business is easy as well, but I’m requesting all those freaks to share the technical reasons or their self-made technical reasoning to put it over here. So, all of you who have/had problems with either Mobilink or Wateen’s wimanx services, please let it unveil. At least we all have the rights to know the possibilities of bogus bills, (reaching hundred thousands), those dum rolls who can pay 90,000 or more (becuz I’ve read the same post on several blogs, but with different names), when they haven’t even used that bandwidth. In addition, all those people who lose their signals but do not know why they lost them, and what actually does it take to resolve it. Well, lets get things rolling, have your say.

Dear Anoushey..

I think you ended up in the wrong forum.. this is not telcos specific forum. I for one dont even have a wateen connection.

Check this forum please.. I hope you'll get a better response there as it is more specific to to telco tech.

Dear Ms/Mr. Anoushey, if you have any complain to a specific clan of people, please do your business with them only.

Hum sub ko 1 lathy say hanknay ke zaroorat naheen.

Yes.. so I am getting 3 signals and at times it just keeps searching for signals since more or less two weeks now. The bytes are too less. Now- you better start putting qs and solve the problem coz I don't have time to call their UAN number since days now. Too damn busy!

Related to the query of Miss Anoushey .... i just want to tell you that there are few possibilities by using them we can cater down the problems of using WIMAX services being provided by Wateen or Mobilink...........

A commonly-held misconception is that WiMAX will deliver 70 Mbit per seconds over 50 kilometers. In reality, WiMAX can do one or the other — operating over maximum range (50 km) increases bit error rate and thus must use a lower bitrate. Lowering the range allows a device to operate at higher bitrates.

Typically, fixed WiMAX networks have a higher-gain directional
antenna installed near the client (customer) which results in greatly
increased range and throughput. Mobile WiMAX networks are usually made
of indoor customer premises equipment such as desktop
modems, laptops with integrated Mobile WiMAX or other Mobile WiMAX
devices. Mobile WiMAX devices typically have an omni-directional
antenna which is of lower-gain compared to directional antennas but are
more portable. In practice, this means that in a line-of-sight
environment with a portable Mobile WiMAX CPE, speeds of 10 Mbit/s at 10
km could be delivered. However, in urban environments they may not have the line of sight
and therefore users may only receive 10 Mbit/s over 2 km. In current
deployments, throughputs are often closer to 2 Mbit/s symmetric at
10 km with fixed WiMAX and a high gain antenna. It is also important to
consider that a throughput of 2 Mbit/s can mean 2 Mbit/s, symmetric
simultaneously, 1 Mbit/s symmetric or some asymmetric mix (e.g.
0.5 Mbit/s downlink and 1.5 Mbit/s uplink or 1.5 Mbit/s downlink and
0.5 Mbit/s uplink), each of which required slightly different network
equipment and configurations. Higher-gain directional antennas can be
used with a Mobile WiMAX network with range and throughput benefits but
the obvious loss of practical mobility.

Like most wireless systems, available bandwidth is shared between
users in a given radio sector, so performance could deteriorate in the
case of many active users in a single sector. In practice, many users
will have a range of 2-, 4-, 6-, 8-, 10- or 12 Mbit/s services and
additional radio cards will be added to the base station to increase
the capacity as required.

Because of this, various granular and distributed network
architectures are being incorporated into WiMAX through independent
development and within the 802.16j mobile multi-hop relay (MMR) task group. This includes wireless mesh, grids, network remote station repeaters which can extend networks and connect to backhaul.

I don't understand a damn thing! Too technical. Can you simplify it a bit for a layman like me please?

What are you trying to prove AUS76PK?

i m not trying to prove nethng dear i was jst giving the info as required as no 1 replied earlier ..... so just chill ...... if u r thinking that its a matter of copy and paste then why dont u prvide it earlier

Regards

@Rizzy

Oh really? So buzzvines is all about your poetry and stupid laughs? Man, I don’t know what to offer you to kick your brains and shut your mouths (specially when they’re talking ugly). Well, Rizzy, you really became a cause to have me miffed, but I liked the way your verses look like, poetic ones. They really are nice, and you should keep yourself busy writing and admiring them. Here, I am putting up a question for everyone. I have submitted this on others blogs as well. And bloggin looks better without rules and formalities. I would really appreciate if you stop rolling your eyes and responding to this thread after reading this post.

@ Aus76pk
Dude, grow up! You just posted Wimax DAMN technical details, copying from wikipedia?! *Hats off for your extraordinary support and cooperation*

Note: It was a note of sarcasm so please make it easier for us. Do not post in this thread again.

damn! these boots are not for walking! :p

hahaha.......where was I when all this was happening.....most amusing blog :)

You were busy reading your own blog ova and ova again ;)

Dudes,

Don’t humiliate a recreational step. I can see no one coming out there but the way you guys are changing directions of the entire post, it sucks the most. Plus, they way you laugh and try to act funny, makes me sleepy. So please, we are discussing some serious techno business dudes, not you malodorous comments. So, let us talk about Wimax, broadband or get you shoes back to home.

Junkies, for the sake of your *beeps*. Wake up and at least say something worthy. I’m bored here.. Errrgh!! And by the way, why everyone has suddenly disappeared after my advent?? Confusing, eh? Well, hell with you guys! I didn’t know you all are such kind of jerks. Ew! *beeps

Lagta hai ghar waloon say attention nahin milty to yahan chalay aatain hain

Ye aap nay apnay baray me kaha he na..ch ch ch yar be a man do somthing different and beter to get the attention... instead of going Yahan Wahan

Anoushy..... Are you Californian? Only People from California say "Dude". Or just got in the habit of saying by watching movies.

You need to calm down. I agree with KHalifah. Ya tou attention nahi mil rahi phir "Amma ne maara".

Not really, dudes. I really wanted to make a report regarding the telecom statistic and strategies. And that is why I used to blog here. What else would I be here on a blog that sucks beautifully? And I don’t know what’s wrong with my tongue.. Its been like that since the beginning. But sorry, fellas. I don’t really mean to insult you when I write.
I started a thread but none of you *beeps* responded properly. So, I had to go to wateen’s office myself and It was really hard getting all that what I wanted. Anyways… Its good to see that you guys talk. Doesn’t matter if the topic is over, at least you talk and that is what matters the most lol. Keep talking Lol.

So basically your report sucks :)

Hey Anoushay, Emm.. I too have been working on a thesis that
resembles what you are looking for. Ma work is purely technological but I can
give you a few details regarding Wateen. And by the way, I liked your attitude.
Its pretty cool ..

Mr. Post Man,
So, you got nothing else except the report to express your pathetic sarcasm? Hm? Well, I was amused anyways. Your writing name reminds me of Carpenters Please Mr. Post Man. But what really is the theme behind this name… Want to deliver some thoughts for free? Emmm.. Sounds good..
And my report wasn’t as bad as it would have been if I had relied on online communities. It went well. I made it. Besides, It was a good experience for me to interview Wateen’s executives and IT department. I’m planning to go to other companies as well. But Wateen will be in my focus.. Pioneer you know Lol.
Hey Sara, I’m not Californian. I spent ages in Toronto but back here now. And dude is just a common word… I don’t know why you guys are unfamiliar with it? *Smiles*
See. I’m cool now ;)

Good you're smiling..... We want you to be cool......Oh canada.. Don't they usually say "aye" after each sentence? Hey, don't mind I was just pulling your leg about "dude". it's not umfamiliar at all.

"And my report wasn’t as bad as it would have been if I had relied on online communities."

So it does suck :)
