In Pakistan the army has sentenced 160 million plus people to a life time of rigorous imprisonment; both mental and physical.
In America ALL politicians go to great lengths to portray themselves as 'tough on crime'; the result is that people end up being imprisoned for such petty 'crimes' as normal traffic violations.
