Google, UNICEF, OLPC (One Lap Top Per Child) launched new cultural portal to preserve the cultural identities around the glob. The new portal named 'Our Stories'.

This new portal aimed to provide the facility to people so that they can learn more about world and different cultures prevailing around. People can share everything in their own language about their culture. Another target market of this portal is children who can share globally, the stories of their friends and families using devices like laptops and mobile phone etc.

"Our Stories" portal is hosted at www.ourstories.org. Google, UNICEF, OLPC are working together in this project. OLPC is working to build the archive of stories to promote dialogue across borders. They want to promote different cultures so that young people can share global issues.

Initially this forum will collect the stories form Brazil and stories recorded for UNICEF by young people in Ghana, Pakistan, Tanzania, and Uganda. With the passage of time, more countries will added to the site to record and preserve the history of humanity in 21st century.
