The west will make sure to finish off the world before islam gets anywhere near the future! But a person named Mark Steyn seems very optimistic about the future and Islam.

I agree with the you, the future is bright for ISLAM and the day will become when the glorious period of ISLAM will come like that of 1st and 2nd Hijra.
I think follwing factor must be considered important.
1. Muslim countries have man power, in which Europe especially and America generally will be decilined in future. Have any considered that why WHO and other international organization and Pak government are recommending the Family Planning. What will be the result of Family Planning especially "Bachay do he achay"?
2. Due to Afghistan and Iraq invasion by America and Europian, study of Islam become interisting. Many reviews depicted the fact the Muslim are becoming powerful in west.
3. Islam is practical not theoratical/superstitious/confusing. Islam is totally related to human daily life. Islam governs and guides his daily life. The people of west take Islam as better solution for them. So they are accepting at shortly or after detailed study.
4. Many incidents supported Muslim and they are becoming ONE, especially in west.
These are general resasons and many other exist. Like the Ueone Redly, Micheal Jackson's conversion to Islam.

Moreover, Which system else than islam remained?
SOCIALISM/COMMUNISM(state authoirty system) evloved in 1890, came in power in late 1930s and flopped in 1980s due to its NO INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS theory. There was no motive left in masses to work for , while you cant eat, roam and live in your own way...you can't buy property then what will you earn in your whole life? The system collapsed....
DICTATORSHIP is flopp system because a poor can't contest election and always rich will come in power to exploite poor. You need at least 1 million rupees to contest for a provincial assembly seat... NA costs 3 million, if you will not , no body will be knwoing you. SO a duffer rich is more compitent than a wise poor.
DICTATORSHIP/KINGDOM needs no explaination. it was flop, is flop and will be flop whenever tried.
So future belongs to the only remaining system og KHILAFAH
The past belonged to Islam and the future will belong to it as well. A more relevant question is "Will the future belong to Muslims".
If the Muslims continue to blame everyone except themselves for the mess they find themselves in then, NO the future will not belong to them. If, however, they stop hearkening to the conspiracy theories of a Jewish grand scheme and actually start emulating the Jews in the field of education, then not only will the future belong to them, they will actually chart the course.

In my previous views i made a mistake in 3rd paragraph it was DEMOCRACY not dictatorship. In democracy a poor cant contest election.
