Faiz ahmed faiz is a forgotton legend. He truely can be said the next to IQBAL . Yesterday it was his death anniversary, just Tv channels paid him tribute..This time i didnt learn about any program arranged by his family(saleema and moneeza, adeel shoaib and other hashmies) though they all cashed the name of legend.

Oh yeah, my parents always use to take me to Faiz Mella when I was young... I remember Tinna Saani use to sing there & it sounded quite boring at that age....I am sure I will appreciate it more now.

earliar they used to arrange Faiz Mella as Babar said. i attended a few of them...but may be it was costing more or time constraint...because they have cahsed him enough so even last year i was unabel to trace any program by them

Its been so long since he passed away. I think its been more than 20 years or so. You cannot expect the family to keep arranging public level memorial functions for him afor ever...they might be doing something for him at a private level...and you know all these 'famous' people do want to have some private time with their family too....so may be thats the story...!
People like him are immortal....he will live for ever....! So no worries mate!
